I liked this book a lot, even if sometimes I thought it had all the right ingredients to be a success and felt not so authentic, but still I devoured it and had fun while reading it. I am probably going to read something else by the same author if it exists.

Questo libro mi é piaciuto molto, anche se ho avuto la sensazione che fosse stato accuratamente costruito a tavolino per diventare un successo "giovanile" e quindi in qualche modo mi é sembrato meno "autentico". Cionostante l'ho divorato e mi sono anche divertita parecchio mentre lo leggevo.

I'm totally disappointed in the end of this trilogy, I knew that, eventually, being this book a YA I would got bored with the ever present love triangle and also this time I was right. Don't even know what I keep on doing this to myself....

Sono rimasta malissimo per la fine di questa trilogia, anche se sapevo che essendo un YA l'onnipresente triangolo amoroso mi avrebbe stufato e avevo ragione anche stavolta. Non riesco nemmeno a capire perché continuo a farmi questo....

I liked the first installment a little bit more than this, but the story is interesting and the illustrations are cool so I will keep on reading even if YA have never been my cup of tea.

Spero almeno che abbia un numero di puntate ben preciso e limitate, che di serie infinite ne sto giá leggendo troppe.....

Dritte und letzte Buch in der Trilogie, schleppt sich dies Silber bis zum Ende, als ob der Autor verpflichtet, eine dritte Bandzu schreiben, wusste nicht, wie um sie zu füllen. Liv, Harry Grayson, Jasper, usw. Es gibt immer alles und Dinge haben sich, seitdem Annabel hat seinen ersten Auftritt der letzten Seiten des zweiten Buches machte, wenig verändert. Arthur ist es nun den Bösewicht, aber es ist nur ihn oder wandert wirklich eine babylonische Dämon in der Halle Tür der Träume? Sagen wir einfach, dass ich glücklich bin, um die Trilogie beendet haben, aber an diesem Punkt,aber wenn ich nicht einmal begonnen hätte, wäre ich auch sehr glücklich, diese 460 Seiten auf Deutsch haben mir zerstört.

Terzo e ultimo libro della trilogia, questo Silber si trascina stancamente fino alla fine, come se l'autrice obbligata a fare un terzo volume non sapesse come riempirlo. Liv, Harry, Grayson, Jasper, etc. ci sono sempre tutti e le cose sono cambiate poi poco da quando Annabel ha fatto la sua apparizione delle ultime pagine del secondo libro. Arthur ora si trova a fare la parte del cattivo, ma si tratta solo di lui o si aggira davvero un demone babilonese nel corridoio delle porte dei sogni? Diciamo pure che sono contenta di aver finito la trilogia, ma a questo punto se non l'avessi nemmeno cominciata sarei stata ancora piú felice, leggere queste 460 pagine in tedesco mi hanno fisicamente devastato.

Sorry to say that dear D. Levithan, because you are one of my favorite author and so on, but this book was far from being necessary. The first one was ok but this second finishes with a cliffhanger that makes me think that maybe a third one is going to come. And if I start thinking I can maybe hypothesize that the next one would be from Justin's point of view, whom has a tragic accident, is in come and then A come and takes his place and that would really been soooooo obvious. Please don't do that. Will Grayson and his other version were not so good and this one also, why don't ou stuck to only one book? We love you all the same and you are a great writer....

Mi dispiace dirtelo cosí caro Levithan, perché sei uno dei miei scrittori preferiti etcetc., ma questo libro non era proprio necessario. Il primo non era male, ma questo secondo volume finisce anche in sospeso, il che mi fa pensare che potrebbe essercene un terzo....e se comincio a pensare questo magari mi viene anche in mente che potrebbe essere dal punto di vista di Justin, che peró ha un brutto incidente, rimane in coma....e poi arriva A che prende il suo posto e tutto questo sarebbe cosí banale e scontato! Per favore, no! Quando hai fatto Will Grayson e il suo seguito avevo giá avuto i miei dubbi e mi ero chiesta: perché non scrivi solo un libro sulla stessa storia? Ti amiamo comunque e sei un grande scrittore.....

I don't like the retelling of old fables so much, but this one was not bad, a little bit of steampunk, a little bit of magic and the usual love triangle taht´s common in every YA novel. What you have is a bewitched Cinderella with a step mother, a step sister, a best friend whom is in love with her and the prince, of course.

Di solito non mi piacciono le favole rivisitate, ma questa non era male: un pochino di steampunk, un pochino di magia e il solito triangolo amoroso che c'é in ogni libro YA. Quello che si ottiene é una Cenerentola stregata, con una matrigna, una sorellastra, un amico del cuore che si innamora di lei e ovviamente, un principe.

I have to say that this type of book - that dangerously looks similar to "The Host" by S.Meyer - is a good book because D.Levithan is a great writer. I absolutely hate YA (except his) and this type of fragmented story, but still I enjoyed this one.

Prima di tutto devo dire che questo non é il tipo di libro che mi piace - inoltre é drammaticamente simile a The Host di S. Meyer - peró mi é piaciuto perché D. Levithan é un grande scrittore. Inoltre gli YA mi fanno abbastanza schifo (tranne is uoi e quello di Green) come anche questo tipo di storie completamente frammentate, ma comunque questa mi é piaciuta.

Technically the idea was really good: genetically engineered women made to serve the MAN, I mean a really good idea in a dystopyan novel where everything was going to change, but the characters where too vapid to make something and in the end I quit because it was absolutely not interesting for me at all.

Utopisticamente l'idea per la trama non era male: donne geneticamente modificate ed educate per servire l'UOMO, voglio dire, sarebbe stata una splendida partenza per una novella distopica dove poi le donne prendono in mano la situazione e rovesciano lo status quo; purtroppo da questa banda di cretine aspettarsi qualcosa era veramente inutile, quindi verso la metá del libro ho smesso di leggere perché il tutto si stava rivelando mortalmente noioso.

Sophie Kinsella leaves the chick Lit to devote to YA and the result, as much fun, is a Young Lit. Imagine if Bridget Jones during her adolescence had a nervous breakdown and developed all the symptoms of generalized anxiety with the resulting panic attacks and depression and soon you'll have the book. It is a quick and easy read, but somehow lacks bite, as if the act of putting teenagers into the book does not allow her to go deeper. Still I think it will sell a lot, so I guess it worked.

Sophie Kinsella abbandona la chick Lit per dedicarsi agli YA ed il risultato, per quanto divertente, è uno Young Lit. Immaginate Bridget Jones se durante la sua adolescenza avesse avuto un crollo nervoso e sviluppato tutti i sintomi di un'ansia generalizzata con conseguenti attacchi di panico e depressione e in breve avrete il libro. È una facile e veloce lettura, ma in qualche modo manca di mordente, come se il fatto di mettere degli adolescenti in gioco non le permettesse di affondare il colpo. Comunque venderà un sacco e ne parleranno bene, quindi direi che ha funzionato.

I must admit that in spite of the second book being a big disappointment and this third volume is shaping up as yet another and not the last one and especially the main protagonist is a girl I hated, this book is not so bad. I have to admit it although the story has taken a turn that I did not like it at all, because I have always been rooting for Hugh, but now the love triangle.....I can not stand it, it's too YA.

Devo ammettere che nonostante il secondo libro fosse stato una grossa delusione e questo terzo volume si preannuncia come l'ennesimo e non l'ultimo e soprattutto la protagonista principale sia una femmina odiosa questo libro non mi é dispiaciuto. Lo devo ammettere nonostante la storia abbia preso una piega che non mi piace affatto, anche perché io ho sempre fatto il tifo per Hugh, ma ora il triangolo non lo sopporto, fa troppo YA.

Easy and very nice book, just in the style of John Green and David Leviathan. Tiny is a character not easily forgotten and Will Grayson is his perfect supporter. The musical, however, was not y cup of tea ;)

Un libro lieve ma molto carino, proprio nello stile di John Green e David Leviathan. Tiny é un personaggio difficile da dimenticare e Will Grayson é la sua spalla perfetta. Il musical comunque, me lo sarei risparmiato ;)

Im Vergleich zum ersten Buch, amüsiert diese Roman mich weniger, auch wenn die letzten 200 Seiten besser als die erste sind. Leider, wie es immer mit Trilogien ist, scheint das zweite Buch immer nur eine Brücke bis zu drei bekommen .....

Compared to the first book, this was not so funny, even if the last 200 pages are better than the first. Unfortunately, as always happens with trilogies, the second book seems always just a bridge to get to three .....

Rispetto al primo libro, questo mi ha divertito di meno, anche se le ultime 200 pagine sono migliori delle prime. Purtroppo come sempre capita con le trilogie, il secondo libro sembra sempre e solo un ponte per arrivare a tre.....

Normalerweise habe ich Probleme mit YA Bücher, aber ich fand es in der Bibliothek, und es war Zeit, ich mit einem Buch in deutscher länger als 100 Seiten probieren.

Die Erfahrung war zufriedenstellend, die Giers Buch man kann sicher umzugehen ohne Wörterbuch und ihre Charaktere sind sehr lustig. Für mich ist es nicht schwer, mit diesem Mädchen einfühlen (auch wenn sie war 16 Jahre alt),der sumerischen Dämon statt fand ich es ein bisschen schwerer zu verdauen...

I usually have problems with the YA book, but I found it in the library and it was time to start reading a book in German longer than 100 pages.

The experience has been satisfactory, this book you deal safely without dictionary and its characters are extremely funny. For me it was not hard to empathize with this girl again changing school and country, the question of the Sumerian demon instead I found it a bit heavier to digest...

Di solito ho problemi con gli YA ma la Gier l'ho trovata in biblioteca ed era ora di mettersi a leggere un libro in tedesco piú lungo di 100 pagine.

L'esperienza é stata soddisfacente, la Gier si affronta tranquillamente senza dizionario e i suoi personaggi sono estremamente divertenti. Per quanto mi riguarda non é stato difficile immedesimarsi in questa ragazzina di 16 anni, che cambia nuovamente scuola e paese; la questione del demone sumero invece l'ho trovata un po' piú pesante da digerire, comunque leggeró anche il seguito.
