While I was reading this book I stopped for a couple of weeks because I didn't agree on one of the biggest decision of Luisa, thank God I kept on reading and in the end I was right :) This story resonated a lot with somebody like me who is not at home anywhere.

Mentre leggevo questo libro mi sono fermata per un paio di settimane, fondamentalmente perché non condividevo affatto una delle decisioni principali di Luisa, per fortuna che poi ad un certo punto, ho finito il libro perché chiaramente avevo ragione :))) Comunque il bello di questa storia, é che per chi non é nè carne nè pesce come me, ha molto molto senso.

Good book, even if at the beginning the temporal line was not so clear to me but then the story has a good evolution and the small and the bigger plot come together for a good ending. Looking forward for the next chapter of this saga, hoping that it will not be infinite.....

Buon libro, anche se all'inizio la sequenza degli eventi non mi era chiara, ma poi la storia ha una buona evoluzione dove la trama minore e quella globale convergono su un degno finale. Ora non vedo l'ora di leggere il prossimo capitolo di questa saga che, spero, non sia infinita.

This was a real great conclusion for one of the best recent urban fantasy trilogy I read in the recent years, and I'm considering also all the other series written by Ilona Andrews so far.

Connor and Nevada are a really great great couple and the way the interact between themselves and with the other member of the crazy family of Nevada or friends or military (mostly friends of Mad Rogan) are the perfect example of how the dialogues works in books. The general plot is coming to an end but there is still a lot of space for some other books, maybe involving Nevada's sisters and I really hope the publisher would listen to all us readers!

Veramente un'ottima conclusione per una delle migliori trilogie urban fantasy che sono state pubblicate in anni recenti, e considero anche le altre serie di Ilona Andrews (di cui ho letto l'opera omnia). Connor e Nevada sono una coppia meravigliosa e le modalitá di interazione tra loro e con il resto dei personaggi piú o meno secondari, quando non comprimari, sono, secondo me, l'esempio perfetto di come e perché funzionano i dialoghi nei libri. Anche la trama globale é quasi arrivata ad una fine, ma c'é molto molto spazio per proseguire e vorrei proprio che gli autori ricevessero un'offerta in modo da proseguire la serie, cosa che noi lettori affezionati chiediamo a gran voce.

Another good book from Ilona Andrews and what a couple Connor and Nevada! The plot altogether was convoluted enough to keep the pace steady and the other characters were a nice addiction. I loved this series and looking forward to the last book, and even if I appreciate that there are still authors that bring their series to an end, I will miss this family of freaks!

Un altro bel libro dalla premiata ditta Ilona Andrews e che coppia Connor e Nevada! La trama é bella complessa e tiene il ritmo ben alto, inoltre i personaggi secondari sono uno meglio dell'altro. Amo questa serie e aspetto il prossimo libro con un misto di gioia e tristezza, perché se pur apprezzo che in questo mondo letterario ci siano anche autori che finiscono le loro serie, questa famiglia di pazzi mi mancherá particolarmente!

Not my favorite installment in this series, but it has to do more with the fact that I couldn't remember what happened in the previous two books, than with what was happening in this one. Still constable Peter Grant remains one of my favorite character ever.

Non il mio volume preferito della serie, ma piú per il fatto che i riferimenti a fatti avvenuti nei due libri precedenti venivano fatti in continuazione e io non me li ricordavo, piuttosto che per la trama in se stessa. Comunque il Constable Peter Grant rimane uno dei miei personaggi preferiti in assoluto.

Fairies and unicorns, but still not so much of a plot and the story went pretty slow, and I was also upset because Lesley is not involved at all and she is, in my opinion, real necessary in the economy of this series that it seems a bit lacking otherwise.

Fate ed unicorni, ma la storia non decolla poi tanto e prosegue lentamente, inoltre l'assenza di Lesley si fa sentire parecchio perché di solito riesce a rendere la storia molto piú viva, e in questo caso la differenza é stata piuttosto evidente.

I hoped this was going to be the next one but it's not; anyway it's a good book but it seems to me that the authors are stalling, they could have bring on the end since a couple of books, but ok, you don't kill your golden egg chicken. Kate and Curran are as usual my favorite character but I have to admit that I start feeling something for Roland too and I'm totally delighted that "SHE" came back. I hope we don't have to wait too much for the last book, if it is the last book.

Speravo fosse l'ultimo capitolo di questa bella saga, ma non lo é; resta comunque un buon libro ma mi sembra quasi che gli autori stiano tergiversando e avrebbero potuto portare il tutto al meritato finale giá da un po, ma capisco anche che non si uccide la propria gallina dalle uova d'oro. Kate e Curran restano i miei personaggi preferiti, ma devo ammettere che ho un debole anche per Roland e soprattutto sono felicissima che sia tornata "LEI". Spero solo non si debba aspettare in eterno per l'ultimo libro, se sará l'ultimo libro.

I liked this book, even if I think the first one was slightly better, but still the tension is high and the background (post apocalyptic, crazy zombies, psychopathic presidents) is super good. The characters were nice but I keep on reading mostly for the whole story behind them and their classic love story. One of the best moment of R.Zanetti as far as I'm concerned.

Mi é piaciuto questo secondo volume della serie, anche se continuo a pensare che il primo fosse leggermente meglio, comunque la tensione resta alta e lo sfondo delle storie (post apocalisse, zombi impazziti e presidenti psicopatici) è veramente figo. I protagonisti non sono male ma la ragione per continuare a leggere é proprio la storia nella sua interezza a prescindere dalle storie d'amore che si susseguono ad ogni volume. Uno dei migliori libri della Zanetti secondo me.

Emerson and Riley are two perfect Evanovich characters and they work, but sometimes the author goes a little bit too far and they are not so funny anymore, just extreme. The plot is interesting enough anyway, but I'm still thinking if I really need to follow another endless series....

Emerson e Riley sono due personaggi tipici della Evanovich e funzionano anche abbastanza bene assieme, ma a volte l'autrice (o chi per lei) esagera e smettono di essere divertenti e diventano forzati. La trama comunque era interessante, ma sto ancora considerando seriamente se ho veramente bisogno di seguire un'ennesima altra serie che si prospetta infinita.
