Un altro divertente libro con nuove avventure di Grace e Ryosuke, piú alcune vignette su quando vivevano ancora negli U.S. e non erano ancora sposati. Mi piacciono un sacco questi due, ora devo cercare di mettere quanto prima le mani sul terzo volume della serie!

Samael (The Lost Angels, #5) by Heather Killough-Walden

It was pretty hard to finish this book, I did it only because it was the last one in this series and now I'm happy I'm finally done, I don't even know if I will keep on reading the other series, the one about the kings, I'm just fed up with everything that's paranormal romance and involves vampires and angels most of all.
È stata dura finire questo libro e l'ho fatto soltanto perché era l'ultimo della serie; attualmente sono molto in dubbio se smetteo prima della fine anche l'altra serie della stessa autrice, quella sui re, perché ne mancano ancora alcuni mentre io, attualmente, non ne posso piú di tutto quello che nell'ambito del paranormal romance prevede angeli o vampiri.

Preghiera per Černobyl' by Svetlana Alexievich, Sergio Rapetti (Translator)

È stato per me impossibile leggere questo libro tutto di seguito, il dolore e lo sgomento erano veramente troppo forti. Un popolo devastato da radiazioni e bugie quello che viveva intorno a Chernobyl, i pochi che avanzano tirano avanti con medaglie in ricordo dei loro morti e lo strazio per i loro bambini mai nati o non sopravvissuti. Una serie di storie che lasciano il segno e che ci fanno sperare che non succeda mai piú, eppure é risuccesso, da poco, a Fukujima, e anche lí tutti a dire che non c'é problema, é tutto sotto controllo, stanno tutti bene, anzi, magari non tutti, ma sicuramente la maggior parte....

Breve storia che ruota intorno al solito fraintendimento tra marito e moglie che fanno tutto il resto ma non parlano, comunque tutto si sistema ma la strada é lunga e pericolosa ;)

It was ok, but seriously this stuff looks all the same to me right now, I should take a break from paranormal romance whoever is the writer.
È una novella, carina, si lascia leggere per caritá, ma attualmente tutte queste storie paranormal romance mi sembrano uguali, forse é il caso che mi prenda un break e ricominci a leggere altro.

La versione di reyes di tutto quello che é accaduto fino ad ora tra lui e Charlene, un piacevole riassunto giusto per non perdere il filo mentre aspettiamo il nono libro, dove tutto, o almeno cosí sembra, dovrebbe ricominciare da capo.

Review: The Business of Blood

This book is a true detective story and is also quite gory and splatter. Other than that I enjoyed it and will definitely be reading the sequel, also because they just sent me the ARC :)
Questo libro é un giallo vero e proprio ed é anche piuttosto cruento e splatter. A parte questo mi sono divertita e mi leggeró sicuramente il seguito, anche perché mi hanno appena mandato l'ARC :)

I like this stories written by Charlaine Harris much more than her lasts books, so I hope the next installment gets out very soon because the story is getting better and better, with new and old characters that make all even more interesting.
Mi piacciono molto le storie che Charlaine Harris sta scrivendo per questi fumetti, per essere precisi mi piacciono decisamente molto di piú dei suoi ultimi libri con Sookie; a questo punto spero quindi che il nuovo numero esca presto perché la storia si é complicata e sono anche arrivati nuovi personaggi.

Very delicate graphic novel, in which the drawings fit very well to the story almost intangible and at the same time very sad and definitely hard to read. A balance that is maintained until the end to tell a life lived in the service of others, when for others there is no one else left.
Graphic novel delicatissima, in cui i disegni si adattano benissimo alla storia quasi impalpabile e allo stesso tempo tristissima e decisamente pesante. Un equilibri che si mantiene fino alla fine per raccontare una vita vissuta al servizio degli altri, quando per gli altri non rimane nessun altro.

Pia Does Hollywood (Elder Races, #8.6) by Thea Harrison

Another good short story where we have Dragos and Pia, Thea Harrison's favorite characters and mines also. This time they have to fight and epidemic and some zombie fairies, it's all very fast and good. Now I just have to wait for Liam's turn.
Un'altra breve storia di Dragos e Pia, i personaggi preferiti dell'autrice e, a dirla tutta, anche i miei. Stavolta devono combattere un'epidemia che trasforma le fate in zombie, il tutto molto velocemente. La storia regge abbastanza anche se la parte di Morgan é decisamente un po' deboluccia. Ora resta solo da aspettare il libro su Liam.

I was convinced this was a trilogy, I was happy as I was sorry it was going to end and instead I was wrong and it didn't end at all, but above all on the author's website there is nothing written about a possible sequel and its publication date. That's why my review is certainly a victim of my current anger, however the book was enjoyable even if a bit repetitive.
Ero convinta che questa fosse una trilogia, ero felice per quanto mi dispiaceva sarebbe finita e invece mi sono sbagliata e non é finita per niente, ma soprattutto sul sito dell'autrice non c'é scritto niente su un eventuale seguito ed una sua data di pubblicazione. Per questo la mia recensione é certamente vittima della mia attuale rabbia, comunque il libro era carino anche se un po' ripetitivo.

Since the beginning something in the plot of this novel didn't ring true to my hears so it's no use to explain why in the end I found the book a little bit too full of stereotypes, and I think that this what the author also thought because Paul is the only one of the brothers about whom we do not know "the end".
Sin dall'inizio del libro, qualcosa mi é suonato piuttosto artificioso nella trama e quindi non c'é poi bisogno di spiegare ulteriormente perché il finale mi é sembrato cosí pieno di stereotipi, che poi penso sia stato anche il pensiero dell'autore, che tra tutti i fratelli, ha scelto di non dare una "fine chiara" proprio a Paul.

I'm a little disappointed by this book because all the people I know that read it, said it was a great novel....So the problem is mine, I found it too long in a way and most of the time I have problems to remember who is the who and what was the problem he/she had in that moment. The end was also not so brilliant in my eyes but as I finished and it was more than 500 pages long, it must have been written in a very good way, technically speaking.
Sono rimasta un po' delusa da questo libro, perché chiunque conoscessi che l'aveva letto, ne tesseva sperticate lodi...Quindi a questo punto il problema é sicuramente mio, perché l'ho trovato troppo lungo e la maggior parte delle volte facevo un po' fatica a ricordarmi chi era chi e quale fosse il suo problema del momento. Anche la fine mi ha lasciata piuttosto con l'amaro in bocca ma, considerato che era piú lungo di 500 pagine e nonostante questo io l'abbia finito pur non essendo particolarmente attratta dalla storia, deve essere proprio scritto bene.
