Unluckyly, I haven't read the book, but if it's half as good as this graphic novel it has to be wonderful.

The illustrations are really perfect to depict what is going on and I loved to read this dramatic story.

Sfortunatamente non ho letto il libro, ma se é bello anche solo la metá di questa graphic novel deve essere meraviglioso. I disegni sono poi l'ideale per descrivere quello che capita in questa storia veramente drammatica.

Das Leben in Tokio(Edo) Anfang des Jahres 1900, erzählt mit wunderbaren Zeichnungen und feinem Humor. Sehr sehr schön, fast eine Sammlung von kurzen Gedichten.

La vita nella Tokio (Edo) dell'inizio del 1900, raccontata con disegni bellissimi ed un delicato umorismo. Molto molto bello, quasi una raccolta di piccole poesie.

Like a Kafkian nightmare the life of the author changes dramatically after he draws a cockroach that speaks Turkish. The never ending problem of censure, obscurantism, religion and repression, that in some States, more and more as it seems, always go hand in hand.

I have to admit that this is the first time that Craig Thompson disappointed me, but as it was his first published graphic novel, I'm very happy that I read this as the last one, otherwise I would have probably stopped immediately and that would have been a real pity!

Devo ammettere che questa é la prima volta che Craig Thompson mi delude, ma siccome questo volume é stato il primo dei suoi lavori ad essere pubblicati, sono felice di averlo letto per ultimo, altrimenti mi sarei magari fermata subito e sarebbe stato un super peccato....

Even better than the first one regarding the plot, and as fine as usual for the steampunk illustrations. I really hope there is going to be more of Lady Mechanika in the future!

Meglio del primo per quanto riguarda la trama e bello come al solito per le illustrazioni steampunk. Spero ci sará un futuro per Lady Mechanika!
