Cool book even if I'm not blind to the similarities between its plot and "The hunger games". The author goes anyway a little bit further, with more politic and more strategy, and of course I'm already reading the second one to see if he follows the Roman Emperors dynasty in their history also, or he just uses the name. Anyway a page turner.
Libro fighissimo, anche se non mi é sfuggita la somiglianza con gli Hunger Games. Comunque l'autore fa un ulteriore passo in avanti e c'é piú strategia e piú politica all'interno di questa trama, inoltre sono giá a metá del secondo libro per vedere se l'utilizzo dei nomi delle dinastie degli imperatori romani é superficiale, o se invece anche i destini di coloro che portano gli stessi nomi si assomiglieranno....
Oltretutto é un libro che si divora....

The author is keeping up with my expectations so another good page turner which has also some food for thoughts. Luckily I'm reading it after three years from its publication so I just have to go to the next one to survive the awful cliffhanger.
L'autore continua ad essere all'altezza delle mie aspettative e quindi anche questo volume é stato divorato oltre ad avermi fatto riflettere un po' su un paio di questioni niente male. Per fortuna, avendolo letto un 2/3 anni dalla sua pubblicazione, non devo fare altro che aprire il prossimo per sopravvivere al terribile finale.

The first part is a little bit slow, but since the naming of the ship Deja Toris, which alloewed me to really appreciate the author as a fellow lover of John Carter from Mars, the book goes back to being a real page turner. I think that this was at the beginning supposed to be a trilogy, but as I got the fourth volume from Netgalley I'm wondering if it is going to be about Lysander or Pax, most important thing anyway, is that nobody else dies.
La prima parte é un po' lenta, ma da quando chiamano la nave spaziale Deja Toris, il che mi ha permesso di riconoscere nell'autore un altro amante di John Carter di Marte, il libro torna ad essere incalzante. Penso che all'inizio questa fosse una trilogia, ma siccome Netgalley mi ha mandato il quarto mi chiedo se sará su Lysander o magari su Pax, comunque l'importante é che non muoia nessun altro.
