Eventually also this series came to an end, and hopefully it will stay this way because this last three books were like an agony for me: I was so in love with the first 5, where Mac and Barrons where my favorite character. This time, I was waiting for Dani and Ryordan instead I got something I didn't want to it's my fault that I was so disappointed, still I couldn't give up and this made me crazy.

The Invisible Library (The Invisible Library, #1) by Genevieve Cogman

The Invisible Library (The Invisible Library, #1)The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A slow beginning, but in the end I liked it a lot and I appreciate the ending turning point because I don't know if I would have appreciated Irene jumping from one world to another; this way made more sense to me, that's why I' already reading the second installment in this series.

March: Book One (March, #1)March: Book One by John Lewis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As I had no idea about John Lewis I really appreciated this graphic novel, that should be an obliged reading in this trump's days. I hope I can read the sequels.

With Everything I Am (The Three, #2) + Wild and Free (The Three, #3) by Kristen Ashley

With Everything I Am (The Three, #2)With Everything I Am by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I liked this series even if I waited too much to bring it to the end. The second (as I'm already reading the third one) is in my opinion the best of the 3. Cullen and Sofia are pretty cool together and the plot is developing in an interesting way. Let's see how it ends.

Wild and Free (The Three, #3)Wild and Free by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

As I said before, the second installment is the best in this series, but I appreciated a lot, that as a series, this lasted only three books and a clear ending, no other books necessary. Kristen Ashley is one of my favorite author for contemporary/paranormal romance and I think that she showed it again in this 3 books.

Ego Is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday

Ego Is the Enemy

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Nothing particular or absolutely new in this self-help book, that mostly is a training to help us not becoming a spoiled, entitled, whining person, or, if it's too late, it should help us to reverse the process. I disagree with the author about the statement that egotistic people never search for a mentor or stopping learning altogether. I have studied all my life, but that didn't help me handle my ego; As a matter of fact I based my super inflated ego exactly on all the things I know, I learnt and still learning. Maybe it's just too late for me....

Review: Writings on Yiddish and Yiddishkayt: The War Years, 1939-1945

Writings on Yiddish and Yiddishkayt: The War Years, 1939-1945 Writings on Yiddish and Yiddishkayt: The War Years, 1939-1945 by Isaac Bashevis Singer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Most of these articles delve into the Jewish world and which is familiar to the devoted reader of SInger. Some, however, were a little too deep into the Jewish religion to be understandable or interesting to me. However, the explanations at the end of each article, added later by the author of the collection, allowed me to place all the articles in a context not only historical but also familiar, which I was completely ignorant of, and this certainly was the added value of this book, at least for me.

I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.

A Gambler's Anatomy by Jonathan Lethem

A Gambler's AnatomyA Gambler's Anatomy by Jonathan Lethem
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book is going to be published again with the title "The blot", but I cannot really understand why as it is far from being one of the best books written by Lethem, to be precise I read it because I had to, but I would never read it again. The characters are superficial and it was impossible for me to understand half of the reason why they did something, the other half reason I disagreed with. Only thing that this book left me is the desire to learn Backgammon.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!
