Another good book from Ilona Andrews and what a couple Connor and Nevada! The plot altogether was convoluted enough to keep the pace steady and the other characters were a nice addiction. I loved this series and looking forward to the last book, and even if I appreciate that there are still authors that bring their series to an end, I will miss this family of freaks!

Un altro bel libro dalla premiata ditta Ilona Andrews e che coppia Connor e Nevada! La trama é bella complessa e tiene il ritmo ben alto, inoltre i personaggi secondari sono uno meglio dell'altro. Amo questa serie e aspetto il prossimo libro con un misto di gioia e tristezza, perché se pur apprezzo che in questo mondo letterario ci siano anche autori che finiscono le loro serie, questa famiglia di pazzi mi mancherá particolarmente!

Fairies and unicorns, but still not so much of a plot and the story went pretty slow, and I was also upset because Lesley is not involved at all and she is, in my opinion, real necessary in the economy of this series that it seems a bit lacking otherwise.

Fate ed unicorni, ma la storia non decolla poi tanto e prosegue lentamente, inoltre l'assenza di Lesley si fa sentire parecchio perché di solito riesce a rendere la storia molto piú viva, e in questo caso la differenza é stata piuttosto evidente.

Pretty cool book by Ilona Andrews that I still haven't read and I'm totally delighted that there are 3 more waiting for me. The location is intriguing and the characters are funny, plus the story is not bad for a paranormal romance or something like that.

Bello leggersi un libro di una delle mie scrittrici preferite e sapere che ce ne sono altri 3 a seguire che mi aspettano! L'ambientazione é particolare ed interessante, inoltre i protagonisti sono divertenti e la storia regge parecchio per essere un paranormal romance, o qualcosa di simile.

A little bit too long, but I was delighted about the end of William's story, that started on the previous installment. Cerise is funny and strong, the plot is cool enough, even if not so many battles would have not done wrong to the book. Looking forward to read the third book.

Un pochino troppo lungo, ma il finale della storia di William, che era cominciata nel precedente volume, mi é piaciuta parecchio. Cerise é una donna forte e divertente, inoltre la trama non é male, anche se qualche battaglia di meno non mi sarebbe dispiaciuta. Sto per cominciare il terzo libro.

I don't know exactly why, but I find this third installment in the series totally boring, even if I liked Keldar in the previous book. Now I will read the last book, but I'm not so happy anymore, but you can never know with Ilona Andrews....

Non saprei nemmeno spiegare esattamente il perché, ma questo terzo volume della serie mi ha annoiato a morte, nonostante Keldar mi fosse piaciuto come personaggio apparso nel libro precedente. Ora mi aspetta l'ultimo libro che leggeró immediatamente, ma non cosí piena di aspettative come ero prima, anche se con Ilona Andrews non si puó mai dire....

Eventually also this series came to an end, and hopefully it will stay this way because this last three books were like an agony for me: I was so in love with the first 5, where Mac and Barrons where my favorite character. This time, I was waiting for Dani and Ryordan instead I got something I didn't want to it's my fault that I was so disappointed, still I couldn't give up and this made me crazy.

Per fortuna anche questa serie é finita e spero resti finita, perché gli ultimi tre libri sono stati una vera e propria agonia: i primi 5 mi erano piaciuti tantissimo e Mac e Barrons erano eccezionali. Stavolta mi aspettavo una trilogia dedicata a Dani e Ryordan e quello che invece ho dovuto leggere non mi é piaciuto affatto, e il fatto stesso che comunque li ho letti lo stesso tutti e tre mi ha fatto impazzire.

I hoped this was going to be the next one but it's not; anyway it's a good book but it seems to me that the authors are stalling, they could have bring on the end since a couple of books, but ok, you don't kill your golden egg chicken. Kate and Curran are as usual my favorite character but I have to admit that I start feeling something for Roland too and I'm totally delighted that "SHE" came back. I hope we don't have to wait too much for the last book, if it is the last book.

Speravo fosse l'ultimo capitolo di questa bella saga, ma non lo é; resta comunque un buon libro ma mi sembra quasi che gli autori stiano tergiversando e avrebbero potuto portare il tutto al meritato finale giá da un po, ma capisco anche che non si uccide la propria gallina dalle uova d'oro. Kate e Curran restano i miei personaggi preferiti, ma devo ammettere che ho un debole anche per Roland e soprattutto sono felicissima che sia tornata "LEI". Spero solo non si debba aspettare in eterno per l'ultimo libro, se sará l'ultimo libro.

This is not your usual Ilona Andrews, this is much more darker and there's a lot of violence and no sex, but still it's a good starting book for a new series and I'm looking forward to read the rest.

Non é il solito Urban Fantasy a cui ci hanno abituato gli Ilona Andrews, è molto piú cupo e violento, inoltre l'eventuale storia d'amore é appena accennato e il sesso manca quasi del tutto se non nelle fantasie della protagonista. Nonostante questo io l'ho trovato un buon inizio per l'ennesima nuova serie di cui non sentivo la mancanza, ma che ora non vedo l'ora di leggere.

As I'm right now much more focused on the story between Eden and the Sectors, I found the relationship between Dylan, Scarlett, Mad and Jade not interesting, too much drama going on, but still this series are one of my favorite ever.

Siccome a questo punto della serie, mi interessa molto di piú la guerra tra Eden ed i Settori, la relazione tra Dylan, Scarlett, Mad e Jade mi ha lasciato parecchio indifferente ( e poi c'era troppo dramma), comunque questa di Kit Rocha resta una delle mie letture preferite.

I binge read trough these two books and I have to say it was worthy, even because I liked the second more than the first and all that jazz ;) Peter is getting stronger and a little bit better as a magician, but he is seriously lacking when choosing new girlfriends....we got to know other wizards as well and so I have hope for the next books, because it seems there are 4 more to read, yeah!

I primi due libri li ho divorati e sono contenta, specialmente perché il secondo mi é anche piaciuto piú del primo e poi c'era tanto jazz...Peter sta diventando piú forte e capace come mago, ma nel versante fidanzate é veramente scarsissimo. Conosciamo inoltre altri maghi e quindi c'é speranza per i prossimi libri, anche perché, siccome sono arrivata tardi, me ne aspettano altri 4 :))))

A funny reading that could have been just a little bit shorter to be the perfect Urban fantasy, but it's ok, the story was congruent and the characters gave me a good feeling, that's why I'm reading the second installation in this series right now.

Una lettura divertente che, per essere veramente perfetta a mio modo di vedere, avrebbe dovuto essere piú, ma come Urban fantasy va piú che bene perché la storia aveva comunque un senso e i personaggi mi sono piaciuti da subito, ed ecco anche perché sto giá leggendo il secondo volume di questa serie.

The worse book of the series so far, even if it's not so bad it's really slow and not so funny like the old ones, maybe because so much time has passed since the second one. Anyway I keep on hoping that something important is going to happen between Lizzy and Diesel so I'll keep on reading this series.

Il peggior volume di questa serie anche se non é poi malaccio, ma decisamente lento e non divertente come i primi due, magari proprio perché é passato troppo tempo dai vecchi libri. Comunque io continuo a sperare che qualcosa di decisivo/importante accadrá tra Lizzy e Diesel e quindi leggeró gli altri volumi della serie.

Great 5th volume in the series of Harry Dresden, whth the returning of the knights of the cross with new characters,other super villains and Susan also evolves as a character. In all this, the only flaw is that, as usual, a lot of people wants to kill Harry, I would not mind things to happen to him once at a time, it seems rather wasteful that every time he should fight on at least three different fronts.

Grande 5° volume nella serie di Harry Dresden, tornano i cavalieri della croce con nuovi personaggi, arrivano altri super cattivi e anche Susan evolve come personaggio. In tutto questo, l'unica pecca é che come al solito ce l'hanno tutti con Harry, non mi dispiacerebbe gli succedesse una cosa per volta, mi sembra piuttosto dispersivo che ogni volta debba combattere su almeno tre fronti diversi.

I liked this new story of Dresden, the tension has remained high throughout the book and I enjoyed it; only problem at one point there were too many people involved, too many names and too many subplots to follow them with attention. Let's move on to the next.

Questa nuova storia di Dresden mi é piaciuta, la tensione é rimasta alta per tutto il libro e mi sono divertita; unico problema ad un certo punto c'erano troppe persone coinvolte, troppi nomi e troppe sottotrame per seguirle tutte con la dovuta attenzione. Andiamo avanti con il prossimo.
