This is a great work of literature, but at the same time it is such a sad book, even if there a type of hope all along the story, that make me want to stop reading. But as it is not possible, I will probably need at last 10 love stories with vampires and a lot of sex to cheer me up.
Questo libro é un capolavoro della letteratura, ma allo stesso tempo é cosí triste (anche se per tutto il libro c'é una specie di speranza che trapela) che ti fa venire voglia di smettere di leggere. Siccome questo non é possibile, almeno nel mio caso, mi dovró riprendere con una decina di storie d'amore piene di vampiri e sesso.

Man muss einen besonderen Sinn für Humor haben, um, ohne ins Erbärmliche abzugleiten, seinen eigenen Schlaganfall mit dem daraus resultierenden neuntägigen Krankenhausaufenthalt zu erzählen. Um uns zum Lachen zu bringen, muss man wirklich gut darin sein. Genau wie Da Silva es mit seinem Tumor getan hat, wird der Schlaganfall zu einer Gelegenheit, die Meyerhoff nutzt, um zurückzukommen und uns über sein Leben und, bei dieser Gelegenheit, einige seiner Reisen zu erzählen.
Bisogna essere dotati di un particolare senso dell'umorismo per raccontare, senza scivolare nel patetico, il proprio ictus con conseguente permanenza di nove giorni in ospedale. Per poi riuscire a farci ridere bisogna essere veramente bravi. Cosí come ha fatto Da Silva con il suo tumore, l'ictus diventa un'occasione che Meyerhoff utilizza per tornare a raccontarci della sua vita e, in questa occasione, di alcuni suoi viaggi.

By far one of the best book of easy recipes I have read in my life. First of all the measures are in "European", then there is a picture for every recipes and last but not least, the explanations are really easy and the ingredients also.
Di gran lunga uno dei miei libri di ricette migliori che abbia letto in vita mia. Prima di tutto perché le unità di misura sono in "Europeo", poi per ogni ricetta c'é la relativa fotografie e per finire sia le spiegazioni che gli ingredienti sono facili.

I read this book because Netgalley sent me the second one to review and it was really a nice surprise. I like both Randall and Mary a lot and they have a not conventional love story which is something I appreciate in the world of the regency romance.
Ho letto questo libro perché Netgalley mi aveva mandato il secondo da recensire ed é stata una bella sorpresa. Mi sono piaciuti molto i personaggi di Mary e di Randall e soprattutto ho apprezzato il fatto che la loro sotria fosse davvero non convenzionale, specialmente nel mondo tutto piuttosto simile del regency romance.

Ho dato 4 stelle fondamentalmente sulla fiducia (e per non sentirmi dire che non capisco il genio, perché é vero, non lo capisco) e per l'ultima frase; per tutto il resto confermo la mia incapacitá ad apprezzare il melodramma tipico della letteratura sovietica di quei tempi.

Clear and full of suggestion, even if for a person like me (Italian) eliminate all the gluten, the dairy stuff and the coffee is really really problematic, but I'm pretty sure that this diet helps to understand if there is something specific in the way we eat that we have to give up, almost forever.
Chiaro e pieno di suggerimenti, anche se per una persona come me (italiana) eliminare tutte le fonti di glutine, i derivati del latte e il caffe potrebbe essere veramente difficoltoso, ma sono sicura che questa dieta sia utile per identificare gli alimenti specifici che ci possono causare reazione allergiche di varia entitá.

Un livre qui m'a déçu, parce qu'il parlait de la passion pour la littérature et de la capacité de celle-ci à améliorer la vie d'une personne, mais qui s'est terminé de façon très négative.
Un libro che mi ha ingannato, perché parlava della passione per la letteratura e di come essa possa migliorare la vita di una persona, ma che é poi finito veramente in un brutto modo.

Some stories were pretty good, like the first and the last one, the second was great and the third not my favorite but still enjoyable so in the end this book is worth the time and the price, IMHO.
Alcune storie erano carine, come la prima e l'ultima, la seconda é geniale e la terza non é la mia preferita, ma comunque resta un piacere da leggere, quindi direi che alla fine questa raccolta vale la pena di spenderci tempo e soldi, secondo me ovviamente.

Marie Kondo meets John Kabat Zinn, in this book of few pretensions, or at least should, where some ideas may be interesting, but only if you have no previous information on the subject.
Marie Kondo incontra John Kabat Zinn, in questo libro di poche pretese, o almeno dovrebbe, dove alcuni spunti possono essere interessanti, ma solo se non avete precedenti informazioni sull'argomento.
