I liked this book because, mostly, it allowed me to understand as a non U.S. citizen, why trump won the election, but overall why democrats and Hillary loosed. The theme about huge multimillionaires companies and shock doctrine are also presents, as they have a big role in trump campaign (fake news etc.etc.) but there are also some sort of solutions or wannabe solutions to apply before it's too late. As usual, after reading one of her book, I'm pretty convinced it is already too late.
La cosa che piú mi é piaciuta di questo libro, é che mi ha permesso, da cittadina europea, di comprendere cosa ci sia dietro la vittoria di trump, o per dirla meglio, dietro la sconfitta dei democratici e di Hillary. Il temi delle multinazionali e della dottrina dello schock sono sempre presenti (e come potrebbe essere altrimenti considerate le fake news di trump), ma ci sono anche delle ipotesi di soluzioni che l'autrice auspica vengano messe in atto prima che sia troppo tardi. Come sempre mi capita dopo aver letto un suo libro, sono convinta che sia giá, ormai, troppo tardi.

I liked this comic version of Pearl Buck's The good earth even if I usually don't appreciate this sort of things. The illustrations are not your usual one, but are perfect to depict the scene and the plot. Recommended reading.
Mi é piaciuta questa versione a fumetti del libro di Pearl Buck "The good earth" anche se di solito non apprezzo molto questo tipo di operazioni commerciali. Le illustrazioni sono molto grezze e schematiche, ma in qualche modo sono perfette per rendere l'idea della trama e della situazione in corso. Da leggere.

Short story just to keep in touch with the people of the Folly and to see Abigail taking the place that was Leslie's. Ghosts, kidnapping (as usual) and undergrounds, the same ingredients for the new novella.
Una breve storia per non perdere di vista i nostri amici del Folly e per vedere l'evoluzione di Abigail che, a quanto sembra, prenderá il posto che era di Leslie. Fantasmi, rapimenti (come al solito) e metropolitane, gli ingradienti che conosciamo per una nuova storia.

I liked this book and mostly I liked Adam which is a lot to say considering my allergy to alfa macho man. It was an enjoyable reading and also funny from time to time.
Mi é piaciuto questo libro, ma soprattutto mi é piaciuto Adam, il che é tutto dire considerata la mia allergia al maschio alfa. Per concludere dire che é stata una lettura piacevole e a tratti divertente.

It is a nice book, like the bazillions before this one that I read on the topic. I agree with the fundamentals: the different type of body to nourish, being mindful while eating, trying to analyse the triggers that make us turn to food and so on. My only disappointment is that this book doesn't really say something new about the topic, but if it was the first book I read about the subject, I would find it interesting and clear.
È un libro carino, come i milioni che lo hanno preceduto sullo stesso argomento. Sono anche d'accordo con i fondamentali: i vari "corpi da nutrire", essere concentrati nel qui ed ora quando si mangia, cercare di analizzare quali sono le situazioni che ci fanno ripiegare sul cibo, etc.etc. L'unica cosa che mi ha un po' deluso é che non ci sia davvero niente di nuovo sull'argomento, ció non toglie che se fosse il primo libro che leggessi riguardo all'alimentazione consapevole, lo avrei trovato interessante e molto chiaro.
