Review: Men in the Off Hours

Essays that examine ancient Greek poets and language, interspersed with poems that I found very beautiful, even though I’m not sure I understood them. The same goes for some of the ideas in the essays or the way they’re written. I didn’t understand Herta Müller, and I find *Satantango* horrible, so even though this book isn’t entirely clear to me, at least I really enjoyed it.

Saggi che esaminano poeti e lingua dell'antica Grecia, mischiati a poesie che mi sono sembrate molto belle, pur non essendo sicura di averle capite. Il che vale anche per alcune cose scritte nei saggi o per come sono scritte. Non avevo capito Herta Muller e "Satantango" lo trovo orribile, quindi per quanto questo libro non mi sia chiaro, almeno mi é piaciuto parecchio.
