Circuit Breakers: How Neuroscientists Get Inside Your Head by Anna ChambersMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Through laboratory experiments on primates and interviews and tests with people suffering from various neurological disorders or impairment, the author describes the progress made (as well as the inevitable setbacks) and the latest significant discoveries, which may also lead to improvements for people who have suffered some form of brain or spinal cord injury.
It’s not exactly an easy or captivating read if you’re not particularly interested in the subject.
