The worse book of the series so far, even if it's not so bad it's really slow and not so funny like the old ones, maybe because so much time has passed since the second one. Anyway I keep on hoping that something important is going to happen between Lizzy and Diesel so I'll keep on reading this series.

Il peggior volume di questa serie anche se non é poi malaccio, ma decisamente lento e non divertente come i primi due, magari proprio perché é passato troppo tempo dai vecchi libri. Comunque io continuo a sperare che qualcosa di decisivo/importante accadrá tra Lizzy e Diesel e quindi leggeró gli altri volumi della serie.

I'm not an expert on Philosophy, but to me, the best part of this book, and also its saddest, is the preface by the author where he tells about the very sad life he had when he was a kid and later an adolescent. From that part on I could very well understand his negation of every religiosity in the persons.

Non sono un'esperta di filosofia, ma per quanto mi riguarda, la parte migliore di questo libro, e anche la piú triste sia chiaro, é la prefazione, dove l'autore racconta la sua infanzia ed adolescenza passata in un orfanatrofio gestito da religiosi cristiani. Da quel momento e per il resto del libro, il suo totale rifiuto di qualsiasi cosa venga considerata religiosa o spirituale mi é sembrata piuttosto comprensibile.

Although full of drama, this romance novel somehow didn't fully satisfy me, there wasn't that much chemistry between the two characters and Thorstein was really unbearable.

Per quanto pieno di dramma, questo romanzo d'amore in qualche modo non mi ha soddisfatto appieno, non c'era poi molta chimica tra i due personaggi e Thorstein era veramente insopportabile.

Libro veramente molto utile se avete figli e state combattendo per farli mangiare il piú vario e sano possibile. Dalla nascita fino all'entrata nel mondo della scuola, l'autrice offre facili trucchi e suggerimenti per aiutarvi e ad aiutare i bambini ad apprezzare il cibo sano e non sempre lo stesso.

Diese ersten beiden Romane von Murakami bringen mich zurück in die Zeit, um Norvegian Wood zum Beispiel, wenn der Autor noch von "normal" Geschichten screibt.

These two first novels from Murakami, bring me back in time, like in "Norwegian Wood" for wxample, when the author used to write about "normal" stuff.

Questi primi due romanzi di Murakami mi portano indietro nel tempo, a Norvegian Wood per capirsi, quando l'autore scriveva ancora storie "normali".

Interesting and clear.

Stavolta il focus non é sul peso, ma piuttosto sulla stanchezza mentale e sulla "nebbia celebrale" che spesso ci impedisce di focalizzarci su un compito e portarlo a termine. Attraverso un programma speciale della durata di 21 giorni l'autore cerca di riequilibrare la nostra vita attraverso la giusta alimentazione (cibo e bevande) la giusta quantitá di esercizio fisico e senza tralasciare la nostra parte spirituale, che invece, e spesso accade, viene solitamente dimenticata. Chiaro ed interessante.

This book has a nice story but its characters were not to my liking. Both of them were too self absorbed that I didn't really get a special connection between them and in the end I was not really interested in what was happening.

I loved this graphic novel, because the drawings perfectly reflected the dark and bare character of the story, despite the fact that it was about three of the greatest Victorian writers.

Some of these essays I've already read because they were translated in Italian from time to time; others I didn't and like them, others were not so interesting, but all of them were wonderfully written. There is nothing better than reading a book of DFW every year, just to remember what is really writing about.

Alcuni di questi saggi li avevo giá letti perché pubblicati in italiano; altri non li avevo letti e mi sono piaciuti molti, altri un po' meno perché l'argomento non mi interessava poi tanto, ma tutti sono stati scritti con la sua meravigliosa prosa. Non c'è niente di meglio che leggere almeno un libro l'anno di DFW, solo per ricordarsi che cosa significhi veramente scrivere.
