Maybe I should have read it more slowly, but I was captivated by the story (not particularly easy to follow, but this author inspires me to keep trying), so I just kept going until the end.
Maybe one day it’ll be available again in print at the library, because as the initial disclaimer said, the formatting in the ebook ruins the verses, and I’ll reread it then. In the meantime, it’s not one of my favorite Carson books, and by now I’ve read quite a few of her works.
Forse avrei dovuto leggerlo piú lentamente, ma mi stava affascinando la storia (non particolarmente comprensibile, ma questa autrice mi spinge a non smettere di tentare) e quindi ho tirato dritto fino alla fine.
Magari un giorno tornerà ad essere disponibile in biblioteca in formato cartaceo, perché come diceva il disclaimer iniziale, in ebook la formattazione rovina i versi, e me lo rileggerò. Nel frattempo non é uno dei libri della Carson che preferisco e ormai posso basarmi su un discreto numero di suoi testi.
