Oldies and Goldies chosen between the best adventures of Wonder Woman, almost from the beginning. It was nice but nothing special because I'm used the the recent stories where the plot is convoluted and complicated. I' not used to short stories anymore.

As far as this mania of books about decluttering goes, this is one of the funniest, mostly because the author has a real serious problem of hoarding but she can be hilarious about her "vices". Forget Mrs. Kondo and her zen strategies, Eve Schaub is handling something serious here: the hell room.....Brilliant.
Fino a che proseguirá la mania per i libri sul decluttering ce ne saranno tanti, ma almeno questo é uno dei piú simpatici, anche perché é l'autobiografia di una donna con un serio problema di accumulo compulsivo, ma che riesce a riderne e a renderlo divertente. Dimenticate la Kondo e le sue strategie Zen per il riordino, Eve Schaub é alle prese con "la stanza infernale". Brillante.

A wonderful love story settle in a world almost like ours, where special doors bring you around the world and are used by refugees to go away from war lands. As usual Hamid is able to convey the biggest feeling with the simplest words and this time also he didn't disappointed me and remains one of my favorite author.
Una meravigliosa storia d'amore che accade in un modo quasi come il nostro, dove porte speciali ti possono portare in altri posti del mondo, che vengono usate dai rifugiati per scappare dalla guerra. Come al solito Hamid riesce a veicolare i sentimenti piú intensi con le parole piú semplici e anche stavolta non mi ha deluso e resta uno dei miei autori preferiti.

I recently read a lot of book involving transhumanism and the overcoming of our biology that "obliges" us to die. This book is one of the most complete: starting from implants, going trough brain emulation, Kurzweil and the sigularity, gives us a good and clear vision of what it is all about. Interesting.
Di recente l'argomento transumanista sta salendo alla ribalta e con esso tutto quello che implica il superamento della nostra mortalitá, quanto meno in termini biologici. Questo libro mi sembra uno dei piú completi a riguardo: partendo dagli impianti e passando attraverso la simulazione neurale, Kurzweil e la singolaritá offre un riassunto degli argomenti ed una visione chiara del tutto. Interessante.

I really hope this is not the last book in this series because that would break my heart. This is by far one of my favorite series and I would miss it so much....Almost all of the questions get to be resolved in this book but still some chickens don't come home to roost so I really hope there are going to be some more books.
Spero davvero che questo non sia l'ultimo libro di questa serie perché mi si spezzerebbe il cuore. "La regina dei cimiteri" é da sempre una delle mie preferite e mi mancherebbe tantissimo. In questo libro quasi tutti i nodi vengono al pettine, quasi, mi aggrappo quindi a questa flebile speranza per un futuro pieno di altri libri con Amelia e Devlin.

I read Sapiens so some of the topics discussed by the author in this book I already knew, what was interesting is the vision of the future that Harari predicts and it is something more philosophical than everything else. Are we going to be subdued to intelligent computers (as all the biological organism are algorithms) except some humas that will be elevated to the role of Gods? As usual this is a very fast reading because the author is a great scientist who is able to explain almost every complex thought in a clear way.
Avevo giá letto Sapiens, quindi alcuni concetti di questo libro mi erano giá noti, quindi la cosa per me piú interessante é la visione del futuro che Harari predice e le domande che ne derivano, piú filosofiche che altro. Saremo sottomessi ad una serie di computer intelligenti (perché come organismi biologici non siamo che algoritmi) tranne rari eletti che si eleveranno al ruolo di dei? L'autore é un grande scienziato in grado di chiarire anche i concetti piú ostici e quindi il libro si legge velocemente.

A sad story told by the voice of a comedian, a book where we learn how far can you bring something if you tell it in a funny way. I would have loved to understand some Jew/Israeli things more, but in the end they are not fundamental to the story. A different Grossman, but still worthy.
Una storia triste raccontata da un comico, un libro dove tocchiamo con mano quanto é possibile raccontare se lo facciamo in modo divertente. Mi sarebbe piaciuto capire alcune cose tipiche della cultura ebrea/israeliana di piú, ma non erano fondamentali per la storia. Un Grossman diverso dal solito, ma che vale comunque la pena leggere.

A plan to detox using vegetables, non gluten food and no dairies; it is not too difficult and tasty, so to make it easy to follow it till the end. Interesting, with clear recipes and beautiful pictures, it could be worth a try.
Un piano alimentare per disintossicarsi utilizzando le verdure, il cibo senza glutine e niente latticini; non sembra particolarmente difficile ma piuttosto gustoso, in modo che sia facile da mettere in pratica. Interessante, con ricette ben spiegate e belle foto. Potrebbe valere la pena provarci.

A little bit boring even if I was looking forward to read Cade's story. Cascadia wolves are not so interesting anymore in my opinion, but Lauren Dane is, as usual, a very good writer and good to read.
Un po' noioso anche se non vedevo l'ora di leggere la storia di Cade. Finita la guerra i lupi di Cascadia non sono piú tanto interessanti secondo me, ma Lauren Dane resta una scrittrice di quelle che valgono la pena.
