I must admit I was expecting something different from the story of Lili and Jared, basically because it felt a little bit "too simple." Practically with her past life full of abuse the easy way in which our "heroine" surrenders to love and pleasure seemed frankly too rapid, and also Jared has practically has only two states of being: in love/not in love. Apart from that, as usual, the authors are magnificent in depicting the story around: spies, tricks, torture and Eden in the background, not to mention the stars of the future books, whom I have to admit, I did not remember very well.
Devo ammettere che mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso dalla storia di Lili e Jared, fondamentalmente perché mi é sembrata un pochino t"troppo semplice". Praticamente con la sua vita passata piena di abusi la facilitá con cui la nostra "eroina" si abbandona all'amore e al piacere mi é sembrata francamente troppo rapida, e anche dal canto suo Jared praticamente ha solo due stati: innamorato/non innamorato. A parte questo come al solito le autrici sono magnifiche nel dipingere la storia di contorno, con le spie ed Eden sullo sfondo, senza dimenticare i protagonisti dei libri futuri, che devo ammettere, non ricordavo poi molto bene.
