Since my first meeting with Gaiman I've always wondered how can somebody even start to think about half of the things he wrote, I mean this time two boys go to a party and they try to pick up a universe and a poem....seriously? Still this is one of the best comic I read this year, so have a try at that.
È dal mio primo incontro con Gaiman che continuo a chiedermi come faccia a ideare almeno la metá delle cose che scrive, voglio dire che stavolta ha scritto un fumetto in cui due ragazzi cercano di rimorchiarsi rispettivamente un universo ed un poema....come ha potuto anche solo pensarci? Eppure resta uno dei fumetti migliori che ho letto quest'anno quindi se vi capita dategli un'occhiata.

L'histoire de France de 1634 jusqu'à ce que presque nos jours, racontée à travers les histoires des luminaires qui ont réussi à la tête de l'Académie française. Parmi les plus mémorables il définitivement Claude Levi Strauss, à laquelle l'auteur dédie ce livre. Si je l'avais su plus sur l'histoire de la France, j'aurais aimé plus, mais cela est certainement un livre intéressant et bien dit.
La storia della Francia dal 1634 fino a quasi i giorni d'oggi, raccontata attraverso le storie dei luminari che si sono succeduti alla guida de l'Académie française. Tra i piú memorabili c'é sicuramente Claude Levi Strauss, a cui l'autore dedica anche questo libro. Se avessi conosciuto meglio la storia della Francia mi sarei divertita di piú, ma questo resta sicuramente un libro interessante e ben raccontato.

Ecrits sur la pensée au Moyen Age by Umberto Eco

Heureusement, je l'avais déjà lu plusieurs de ces essais par Umberto Eco, qui avaint comme argument commun le Moyen Age. Pour les fans du genre ainsi que des experts, peut-être, peut-être pas tous, intéressant même pour les non-initiés, mais je ne pense pas que je peux le recommander à tout le monde.
Fortunatamente avevo giá letto parecchi di questi saggi di Umberto Eco, che hanno come argomento comune il medioevo. Per amanti del genere ed anche esperti, potrebbero risultare, magari non tutti, interessanti anche per i profani, ma non mi sentirei di consigliarlo a tutti.

Starting with a few key words, it was possible for me to dive back into the universe of Jane Austen's books and also to recall situations I had forgotten and to better understand a certain type of expectations and attitudes of the time.
For many anyway, but not for everyone, especially if you are not a lover of Victorian literature.
Partendo da alcune parole chiave, mi é stato possibile tornare ad immergermi nell'universo dei libri di Jane Austen e anche di ricordare situazioni che avevo dimenticato e di capire meglio un certo tipo di aspettative ed atteggiamenti del tempo.
Per molti comunque, ma non per tutti, specialmente se non siete amanti della letteratura vittoriana.

Butcher's Crossing by John Edward Williams

I would have never thought that I would love so much a book about butchering bison in the snow, but it happened and so I'm reading Stoner and I have Augustus on my waiting list. When this "Williams fever" came I was a little bit suspicious, I'a a snob, but I have to admit that this book is remarkable for many different reasons. If you like Cormac McCarthy, then you may also love Williams.
Non avrei mai pensato che un libro sulla caccia dei bisonti nella neve mi avrebbe preso cosí tanto, invece é successo e quindi ora comincio a leggere il tanto declamato Stoner per poi finire con Augustus. Quando é scoppiata la mania Williams il mio snobismo mi ha impedito di partecipare, ma ora devo ammettere che mi é dispiaciuto aspettare, anche perché questo, sotto tanti punti di vista, é un libro veramente notevole. Se vi piace Cormac McCarthy é possibile che adorerete Williams.

There was everything in this book to be one of my favorite: magic, love, witches and DRAGONS!!! Unluckily the mix didn't come out as I hoped and it took me a lot to get to the end of the book, which was, in a word, boring. I thinks 250 pages less would have done the job, but it was not my decision so maybe it just wasn't the right time for me to read this book.
C'era tutto perché questo potesse diventare uno dei miei libri preferiti: magia, amore, antiche maledizioni e DRAGHI!!!! Purtroppo peró, il risultato di questo intruglio é stato piuttosto deludente e ci ho messo una vita a finire il libro, che per riassumere in una sola parola, é stato proprio noioso. Magari se avesse avuto 250 pagine di meno avrebbe funzionato, ma non era chiaramente una mia decisione e quindi magari l'ho letto nel periodo sbagliato.

I had only read T.Grandin's articles up to this point and it is a pity. Certainly what I learned about visual Thinkers will be, and not only for me, a starting point to implement at least some kind of research, and then hopefully different kinds of school and university curricula as well.
Avevo letto solo articoli di T.Grandin fino a questo momento ed é un vero peccato. Sicuramente quanto ho imparato sui visual Thinker sará, e non solo per me, un punto di partenza per implementare quanto meno un certo tipo di ricerche, e poi spero anche diversi tipi di curricola scolastici ed universitari.

Non ho ben capito dove Banana voglia andare a parare con questo libro pieno di presagi, intuizioni e "giapponesismo" ad altissimo livello. La storia di Shizukuishi é ondivaga come sempre e ogni volta che sembra aver imboccato una direzione definita svolta per qualche tipo di motivo anche abbastanza vago. Staremo a vedere con il prossimo e ultimo libro.
