This book was very interesting and for once did not try to lead the reader to one side or the other. The title, however, is misleading because I was convinced that it was an essay all about climate change, but instead it should be read from the perspective of an author who has not yet decided/understood how to read the present in front of him, based on the past that preceded it. Definitely a lot of food for thought.

Questo libro é stato molto interessante e per una volta non cercava di portare il lettore verso una o l'altra parte, come dire. Il titolo comunque é fuorviante perché ero convinta che fosse un saggio tutto centrato sul cambiamento climatico, ma invece va piú letto nell'ottica di un autore che ancora non ha deciso/capito come leggere il presente che gli sta davanti, basandosi sul passato che lo ha preceduto. Decisamente molti spunti di riflessione.

To love this book, you have to know the story from beginning, otherwise it is just another coffee table book. To me is one of my favorites series (Bibliophile) and I love to read them over and over again.

Per amare questo libro bisogna saperne la storia dall'inizio, altrimenti é soltanto un altro di quei libri da regalare quando non si conoscono le persone che ci hanno invitato a cena. Peró siccome la serie Bibliophile é una delle mie preferite, anche questo sará un volume che continuerò a sfogliare e a consigliare.

I liked this second installment of "The lord of Anarchy" but I was really eager to read it because I liked Hermione since the first book and the same feeling I had for Jasper, even if at the beginning he was totally not so nice to her. I think now it's the time of Trent and Ophelia, but they do not seem so interested in each other, we will see.

Mi é piaciuto questo secondo volume della serie "The lord of Anarchy" anche perché non vedevo l'ora di leggerlo in quando sia Hermione che Jasper mi erano stati immediatamente simpatici sin dal primo libro, anche se lui all'inizio non si era certo comportato bene con lei. Ora penso sia il momento di Trent ed Ophelia, ma loro non mi hanno risvegliato lo stesso interesse né mi sembrano poi cosí presi l'uno dall'altro, staremo a vedere.

Problem with this book was that, even if I liked Cat and Bear a lot, as a not mother-tongue all this Scottish brogue was almost killing me, at last at the beginning of the book. I would be interested to read the story of Elizabeth right now, she was an interesting character.

Fondamentalmente un libro carino se non fosse che lo scozzese impiegato in quantitá smisurata dall'autrice mi ha quasi impedito di continuare la lettura del libro, specialmente all'inizio, penso poi di essermici abituata. Ora non mi dispiacerebbe leggere la storia di Elizabeth, perché anche il suo di personaggio non era male.

Even if usually Lora Leigh is one of my favorite author, this book has no reason to be considered good. First of all I didn't like the 3 main characters, second they were absolutely unbelievable trough the whole stories, either for the way they were behaving or for what happened to them. In the end I was disappointed.

Anche se di solito Lora Leigh é una delle mie autrici preferite, non c'é nessuna ragione, a mio modo di vedere, per considerare questo un buon libro. Prima di tutto perché i tre protagonisti principali non mi piacevano affatto, secondo poi perché per tutta la storia sia il modo in cui si comportavano tra loro sia quello che gli succede sono assolutamente poco credibili per non dire incredibili. Concludo dicendo che purtroppo stavolta la Leigh é stata una delusione.

I have to say, first of all, that I do not usually like New Adult novels, but as it is written by some of my favorite author (Kit Rocha) I gave it a try and it was worthy. I had fun and I read it very very fast because it was compelling and even if at the beginning I didn't like that he was the ex boyfriend of her sister in the end I was ok with that also, and most of all now I'm waiting for Evie and Gibb's story....I'm such a serial reader....

Devo dire che in gerale i libri che vengono etichettati sotto la dicitura "New Adult" non mi piacciono, ma siccome questa ARC me l'hanno spedita due tra le mie autrici preferite (Kit Rocha), ero piú che pronta a fare un'eccezione. Ne é valsa la pena, é un romanzo che si legge velocemente e anche se all'inizio l'idea che lui fosse l'ex fidanzato della sorella non mi piacesse poi un granché alla fine mi sono divertita; chiaramente, da serial reader quale io sono, ora non posso che aspettare con ansia la storia di Evie e Gibb.....

It's fascinating to see how the mythology and the Pantheon of the Aborigine is so different from ours, for example even if the most important gods are as usual the sun, the moon and the star, they are not so mean as our Zeus; in the mean time the animals are crazy and sooo bad to each other....

È affascinante notare come la mitologia e il Pantheon degli dei degli aborigeni australiani siano differenti dai nostri, se per esempio anche qui il sole, la luna e le stelle sono gli dei piú potenti non sono certo cattivi come i nostri che si sono fatti la guerra da sempre e per ogni futile motivo; invece gli animali sono dei pazzi assetati di sangue....

A small essay with beautiful drawings in style to tell not only the history of tea, but its evolution, the schools that have represented it, the connections with Zen and other arts, such as those that have to do with flowers. Very nice and interesting, but certainly not for everyone.

Un piccolo saggio con dei bei disegni in stile per raccontare non solo la storia del te, ma la sua evoluzione, le scuole che lo hanno rappresentato, i collegamenti con lo zen e con altre arti, come per esempio quelle che hanno a che fare con i fiori. Molto bello ed interessante, ma certo non per tutti.

Rovelli talked about this book so I read it but I found it lacking of deep meaning, due to my ignorance in biology and philosophy mostly, so I wouldn't recommend it to everybody, but at last is really short even if it is also sometimes boring. But trust me I would have loved to love the book, really.

Rovelli ha scritto di questo libro e quindi me lo sono letto perché a detta sua (di Rovelli) tracciava l'evoluzione tra la coscienza umana e quella animale, del cefalopode in questione per essere precisi: il polpo. Devo dire che per fortuna che era corto, perché spesso mi ingarellavo in frasi come questa: il complesso cefalopode solitario ed idiosincratico e mi chiedevo esattamente in che senso parlasse l'autore. Averlo letto in inglese poi non é che abbia aiutato più di tanto la comprensione e soprattutto non ha alleviato la noia che ogni tanto mi ha sommerso. Però avrei voluto veramente amare questo libro alla follia, quando invece finirlo mi é sembrata già un'impresa...

Il mio libro estivo che vede come protagonista Kate anche stavolta non mi ha deluso.

Stavolta abbiamo Goerge, il suo fidanzato scomparso Edoardo, la Guild, tre giganti, i cavalieri, Roland naturalmente e un genio, un libro pieno di optionale e tante storie che si incrociano piene di avventure. Delizioso
