As much as I would have liked something different from the book whose protagonists are Ash and Janvier, whom, as the first-known characters in "Angel's pawns" have always had a special place in my heart, the seventh volume of this series is not bad. First of all it resumes where the 6th finished and we see the consequences of war brought by the crazy China archangel to New York, we also have a slightly more in-depth knowledge of some Legion's angels and of Naasir, although, like Helena, I have yet to figure out to which species he belongs. I am undecided whether to cheer for the next book being about him or Ilium .... An intermediate book then, as a necessity to move to another stage of the series, it's okay, not every installment can be beautiful.

Per quanto mi sarebbe piaciuto qualcosa di diverso dal libro che ha come protagonisti Ash e Janvier, che come primi personaggi conosciuti in Angel's pawn hanno sempre avuto un posto speciale nel mio cuore, il settimo volume di questa serie non é male. Inanzitutto riprende da dove era finito il sesto e vediamo le conseguenze della guerra portate dall'arcangelo folle a New York, inoltre facciamo una conoscenza leggermente piú approfondita di alcuni angeli di legione e di Naasir, che pure devo ancora capire a che specie appartiene. Sono indecisa se fare il tifo perché il prossimo libro sia su di lui o su Ilium....Un libro intermedio quindi, come una necessitá per passare ad un'altra fase della serie, va bene, mica possono essere tutti stupendi.
