There are books with excellent premises which however do not succeed as they could, and this is one of them. The problem of the novel is that although the characters are three-dimensional, the dialogue good and very detailed reconstructions, the couple does not get enough attention, it is as if in the process of editing Claire and Cameron had been cut in a lot of the scene where they were the main characters and thus their story seems very rushed.

Ci sono dei libri con delle ottime premesse che peró non riescono come potrebbero, e questo é uno di questi. Il problema del romanzo é che nonostante i personaggi siano tridimensionali, i dialoghi buoni e le ricostruzioni molto dettagliate, la coppia non riceve abbastanza attenzione, é come se in fase di editing a Claire e Cameron fossero state tagliate una marea di scena e quindi la loro storia sembra molto affrettata.
