There was a reason why I waited more than 10 years to read another one of Hosseini's book and it was the infinite sadness. This one, if it is possible, is even sadder than the Kite runner and it has the most miserable life depicted in it. I am not sure another 10 years would be enough to read the 3rd book...
La ragione per cui ho aspettato piú di 10 anni a leggere un altro libro dopo "Il cacciatore di aquiloni" sta nell'infinita tristezza che permea i libri di questo autore. Se possibile questo romanzo é anche peggio, perché la storia di Mariam é forse la piú miserabile che io ricordi a memoria d'uomo, se escludiamo l'agiografia di qualche martire cristiano. Ció detto é probabile che passeranno molti molti anni prima della lettura di un altro libro di Hosseini per quando mi riguarda.
