Well, as a poet and writer certainly was a great man but as "political" and "husband" Borges really comes short of expectations, not that Elsa as "wife" and especially as a woman was then so much better. This book even if destroyed one of my "myth", was useful to remind me that to be a great writer, it is not necessary to be a great man.

Beh, come poeta e scrittore sicuramente era un grande, ma come uomo "politico" e "marito" Borges lascia veramente molto a desiderare, non che Elsa come "moglie" e soprattutto come donna fosse poi tanto meglio. Questo libro anche se mi ha distrutto un mito, mi é servito per ricordarmi che per essere un grande scrittore non é necessario essere un grande uomo.
