A nice book that informs about some philosophers and authors from s "botanical" point of view. What were Jane Austen's favourite flowers, and why Marcel Proust wrote with three bonsai in his room? Many of these things I didn't know and they were helpful to know something diffrent from the usual stuff one generally knows about famous writers and Philosophers; for example the problem Nietzsche had with his eyes or the disappointment Sarte felt for himself when he was 30, shows under a different light some of their works. Well written and fun to read.
Un piccolo e divertente saggio che racconta di filosofi e scrittori dal punto di vista "botanico". Quali erano i fiori preferiti di Jane Austen e perché Marcel Proust aveva tre bonsai nella stanza dove scriveva/abitava? Tante delle cose qui riportante non le consocevo e sono state utili per conoscere questi personaggi da un altro punto di vista, come per esempio sapere del problema di Nietzsche agli occhi e i sentimenti di Sartre verso se stesso quando aveva 30 anni, gettano una nuova luce su alcune delle loro opere. Ben scritto e facile da leggere.
