Again, the author has done it again and then I wonder why I requested to netgalley this second volume when the first one I read already exasperated me .... So we can sum up this story that is dramatically similar to Fifty Shades , the Crossfire trilogy and all that type of books that goes like: billionaire with problems that stem from childhood meets former model terribly clever, but in turn with a past to be forgotten behind. If, however, in former cases there could be at least a hint of a plot, in this case we are right to parody. For example, the couple has a problem? Solve it with sexual acrobatics! He is accused of murder? Let´s fuck! She is being chased by paparazzi who investigate about her past and about the suicide of her sister? This is just the best prelude to a little 'healthy bondage. So pitiful. In addition, three quarters of the book describe the vagaries of the protagonist who looks at his billionaire wondering why such perfection in terms of both personality and physical, as well as monetary, ever happened to her. Personally, I wonder that too, but you know that we are reading fiction. Then this series I completely dislike and I wonder how many books do I have read where the billionaire ultra-cool and abused fight against his ghosts to trust a woman that's good for sex, but not for much else? Anyway billionaires of the world is time for your outing, we all know that you were abused in the past and that´s the reason why you are rich now.....

Di nuovo, l'autrice l'ha fatto di nuovo e quindi mi chiedo perché ho richiesto a netgalley anche questo secondo volume quando giá il primo mi aveva esasperato....Dunque potremmo riassumere questa storia che si rifá in maniera drammatica a Fifty shades, the Crossfire trilogy e quanto di simile sia stato giá scritto sull'argomento: milionario con problemi che gli derivano dall'infanzia che incontra ex modella terribilmente intelligente, ma a sua volta con un passato da dimenticare alle spalle. Se peró nei casi precendeti si poteva quanto meno risalire ad un accenno di trama, in questo caso siamo proprio alla parodia. Per esempio la coppia ha un problema? Lo risolve con acrobazie sessuali! Lui viene accusato di omicidio? Scopiamoci sopra. Lei viene inseguita dai paparazzi che indagano sul suo passato e sul suicidio della sorella? Questo non é che il preludio migliore ad un po' di sano bondage. Insomma pietoso. Inoltre tre quarti del libro descrivono le divagazioni della protagonista che guarda il suo billionario chiedendosi come mai tale perfezione in termini sia di personalitá che fisici, oltre che monetari, le sia capitata in sorte. Personalmente me lo chiedo anche io, ma si sa che stiamo leggendo della fiction. Quindi questa serie la boccio completamente e mi chiedo quanti libri ancora dovró leggere in cui il miliardario strafighissimo e abusato lotta contro i suoi fantasmi per fidarsi di una donna che va bene per il sesso, ma non per tanto altro? Tra l'altro a questo punto rivolgerei un appello a tutti i milionari in giro, fate outing, lo sappiamo che vi hanno abusato da piccoli, altrimenti tutti questi soldi non si spiegano.....
