I have to admit I was completely disappointed by this book, but the fault is mine because I read only the title and subtitle so it was my fault when I realized that, instead of kindness, the topic was about raising a small business, from the start up to Forbes. Which, as a matter of fact, is not something I'm interested so much. So be careful when you buy this book to read also the cover.
Devo ammettere la mia completa delusione dopo il primo capitolo, quando ho scoperto che questo non era affatto un libro sulla gentilezza, quanto piuttosto un manuale per piccoli imprenditori per portare la loro start up nella classifica di Forbes. Ma la colpa é chiaramente solo mia, cosí magari la prossima volta invece di farmi intortare dal titolo faccio piú attenzione e leggo anche la quarta di copertina....

I found the first one a little bit better, even because I had no idea of the topic, so this one was some sort of deja vu, but a good book anyway, even because Snowden happened in the meantime.
Il primo libro di questa serie mi era piaciuto di piú, anche perché non avevo idea di quale fosse l'argomento, mentre questo, per certi versi, sembrava una sorta di deja vu, pur restando comunque un buon libro, e nel frattempo é successo wikileaks.

Alcune delle cose scritte in questo libro erano anche scritte nel primo (Quiet), altre sono state ampliate od adattate a contesti specifici. Interessante ma niente di particolarmente speciale o innovativo.

An extremely interesting book that provides much more than advice, it teaches you just how to dispose of waste, recycle clothes or how to replace things that are neither reusable nor disposable. Of course the problem is that every time I read a book like this I also wonder when we will finally realize that we can't go on like this, pretending nothing is happening.....
Un libro estremamente interessante che fornisce molto di piú che consigli, ti insegna proprio come smaltire i rifiuti, reciclare i vestiti o come sostituire le cose che non sono né riutilizzabili né smaltibili. Certo il problema é che ogni volta che leggo un libro del genere mi chiedo anche quando ci renderemo finalmente conto che non possiamo andare avanti cosí, facendo finta di niente.....

IL titolo completo avrebbe dovuto essere "Come scrivere una semplie recensione per un libro su Amazon IL MIGLIOR SITO DEL MONDO: é piú facile di quanto pensi, e ora capisco anche perché, sempre su amazon chiaramente, questo libro costasse cosí poco....

What a crazy full life Nile have, he is still alive so it seemed bad to me to write "Had", but seriously he met probably every famous american musician from the '60 on, and mostly he produced the biggest disco era success, not to forget Madonna, Diana Ross or Christina Aguilera. Uau, I arrived by chance to this book and I was so taken by the stories of his life that I will recommend this book to every music lover I know.
Che vita folle che ha Nile, siccome é ancora vivo mi sembra brutto scrivere "ha avuto", ma davvero lui ha incontrato ogni musicista americano famoso dagli anni '60 in poi, e ha anche prodotto alcuni grossi successi dell'era della discomusic, per non parlare poi degli anni successivi con Madonna, Diana Ross o Christina Aguilera. Uau, sono arrivata a questo libro per caso e la storia mi ha catturato al punto che lo consiglieró a qualsiasi amante della musica che conosco.

Such a cool book that I would have loved to keep on reading. I can admit I didn't understand everything but still it was absolutely brilliant. Algorithms are everywhere and we use them even if we don't recognize them, so after many epiphanies I was almost shocked.
Libro veramente interessante che avrei voluto non finisse ancora. Posso anche ammettere tranquillamente di non aver capito proprio tutto, ma quello che ho capito mi é bastato per decidere che fosse veramente brillante. Gli algoritmi sono ovunque e li usiamo continuamente senza sapere che sono loro, una volta portati alla luce c'é da rimanete a bocca aperta.

I have to admit that I didn't like this book sooo much, it's mostly an interview to this famous reviewer and her constant praise to Amazon, wich I think is not the best thing ever happened to books so, that's the reason of the 2 stars.
Devo ammettere che questo libro mi é piaciuto proprio poco, é un'intervista a questa donna diventata famosa per le sue recensioni su Amazon e le sue lodi costanti e sperticate per Amazon, appunto, che secondo me é lungi dall'essere la migliore cosa capitata di recente ai libri, quindi ecco il perché delle 2 stelle.

Il vero libro per gli amanti dei libri. L'autrice capisce veramente noi topi di biblioteca e il nostro piacere nel leggere, trovare nuovi libri, nuove storie, nuovi autori, consigliare o sconsigliare a qualcuno lo stesso libro o altri. È stato un vero piacere leggere queste pagine che hanno risuonato forte dentro di me.
