Contrariamente a quanto uno potrebbe immaginare dal titolo questo libro riguarda il Libano e non la Siria, detto questo mi è sembrato un po' datato perchè parte dagli accordi del 1991 e non arriva molto oltre, per capirsi non arriva alla primavera Araba del 2012.

Resta comunque interessante per capire il ruolo chiave del Libano nel Medio Oriente e per cercare di fare delle previsioni di massima.

In the beginning, I tought this book was about Syria but no, it's about Lebanon and it's not up to date because it starts talking about the Pacts of 1991 and doesn't arrive to the Arab Spring. Anyway it was interesting to understand the key role of Lebanon in the Middle East and try to forecast the future.
