I would have never thought that jellyfishes could be so interesting. A dive into this special world that I enjoyed a lot, even if I had no background information on this topic.

Non avrei mai pensato che il mondo delle meduse potesse essere cosí interessante. Un tuffo in un argomento che non conoscevo per niente e che mi é piaciuto parecchio!

Can we say that there is a dialogue going on between the different traditions? And what about the Indians? And what does LCTP means? To this and some other questions the author tries to answer in a clear way to show how important it is not to consider philosophy only the "usual" one.

I'm sorry to say that this huge volume was not as funny as I thought, mostly because the diaries of very funny writers, last example was Sedaris' , are to me not funny at all. I always have this sensation of spying and it's not good. Moreover, the obituaries were about people I don't know, mostly because I am not English, and the radio plays not as usual. I liked some of the introductions but it was not enough for more than 700 pages....

Mi spiace dire che questo immenso volume non é stato per niente di mio gradimento, prima di tutto perché, come giá avvenuto per Sedaris, i diari di autori che di solito mi fanno ridere, mi danno sempre la sensazione di spiarli e non é piacevole oltre al fatto che, la maggior parte delle volte, non sono divertenti. Inoltre gli obituaries sono sempre su persone che non conosco, anche perché non sono inglese. Le due commedie per la radio non le ho trovate niente di che e tutto sommato, su 700 pagine di libro devo dire che salverei ben poco.

I love Debbie Tung and her drawings, because I feel exactly like she does most of the times, but I'm not able to express my feelings, and I would love to. the life of an introvert is not easy even if we spent time trying to adapt, so I appreciate the levity with which she handles the topic.

Mi piace molto Debbie Tung, sia per quello che descrive sia per come lo fa attraverso i suoi disegni, specialmente perché la maggior parte delle volte mi sento come lei, ma non riesco ad esprimerlo, anche perché la vita degli introversi non é semplice anche se passiamo la maggior parte del tempo ad adattarci, quindi ho apprezzato molto la levitá con cui tratta l'argomento.

Even if I'm not an expert on Green Lanterns, this time the story of Jade was pretty cool and I liked it. But as usual my favorite one is Batman,especially when he is interacting with Wonder Woman :)

Anche se non sono un'esperta di Lanterne Verdi (ce ne sono state veramente tante), la storia di Jade mi é piaciuta, anche se come al solito il mio preferito resta Batman, specialmente quando interagisce con Wonder Woman :)

Interesting but not an easy reading, most of the times I had to use my former knowledge about biology and chemistry, but in the end it was worthy.

Interessante, ma certo non classificabile come lettura facile, anche perché per fortuna avevo una conoscenza precedente di chimica e biologia altrimenti non l'avrei finito. Valido, ma non per tutti!

Great graphic novel about the difficult life of Oskar Monet, his struggle to invent something new, or as it was called: the invention of light. Very good illustration, some of which are based on real paintings of the many artist who where, for some reason or other, involved with Monet.

Bella graphic novel sulla difficile vita di Monet, la sua battaglia per inventare qualcosa di nuovo, qualcosa di diverso dal classicismo, o come si disse ai tempi: l'invenzione della luce. Le illustrazioni sono belle ed alcune sono basate sui quadri degli artisti famosi che, per un motivo o per un altro, hanno incrociato la vita di Monet.
