Review: Appointment in Bath

We had already met Meg and Ivo in the previous book and it's not that I found them that interesting. With this novel dedicated to them, however, they turned out to be full of much more interesting facets than it seemed at first, and their story decidedly more engaging. Although "victims of their age" so to speak, they did not consistently sin of extreme superficiality and this book proved to be quite a quick read.

Avevamo giá incontrato Meg ed Ivo nel libro precedente e non é che li avessi trovati poi cosí interessanti. Con questo romanzo a loro dedicato peró, si sono rivelati pieni di sfaccettature molto piú interessanti di quanto sembrasse all'inizio e la loro storia decisamente piú coinvolgente. Per quanto "vittime della loro etá" per cosí dire, non hanno peccato costantemente di estrema superficialitá e questo libro si é rivelato piuttosto rapido da leggere.
