A book about books for me is always a great pleasure to read, especially with an author that I appreciate since she wrote "Reading Lolita in Tehran." As in that case, the books are a means to talk about other books, of freedom and of life in general. I knew Huck Finn by Twain and Babbit by Lewis and now I'm going to read Baldwin and Culler, so what is better than reading a book that speaks about nuances and facets of other famous books?
Un libro che parla di libri per quanto mi riguarda é sempre un grande piacere da leggere, specialmente con un'autrice che apprezzo da quando ha scritto "Leggere Lolita a Theran". Come in quel caso, i libri diventano un mezzo per parlare di altri libri, di libertá e di vita in generale. Conoscevo Huck Finn di Twain e Babbit di Lewis e ora mi metteró a leggere Baldwin e la Culler, quindi quale migliore occasione che leggere un libro che ne parla bene e ne racconta sfumature e sfaccettature.
