I liked this book that is set at the time of Cromwell and where the two protagonists are first friends and then lovers. Ari and Ivor all in all fare even too well after being in the throes of a marriage not wanted, with one rejected suitor, and especially a British court full of snakes, pity though that the book is finished so soon, I would have preferred to see how the machinations between Protestants and Catholics would have ended.
Mi é piaciuto questo libro ambientato all'epoca di Cromwell e che vede due protagonisti prima di tutto amici e poi amanti. Ari e Ivor tutto sommato se la cavano bene alle prese con un matrimonio no voluto, uno spasimante rifiutato e soprattutto una corte inglese piena di serpenti, peccato peró che il libro sia finito sul piú bello, avrei preferito vedere come andavano a vedere le macchinazioni tra protestanti e cattolici.
