Questo libro mi é piaciuto tantissimo, perché assieme alle spiegazioni dettagliate di molte opere d'arte contemporanea famose ci sono anche le spiegazioni riguardanti il fatto che no, tuo figlio di 5 anni non avrebbe potuto fare la stessa cosa. Geniale!

This last installment in this series ends between the first book (my favorite) and the last favorite one, which is the second book. I like the characters enough to read it till the end, but in a way there were too many lies that, in my opinions where far from being necessaries and so too much drama going on in the whole book.

Questo ultimo volume della serie, lo posizionerei tra il primo, che resta il mio preferito e il secondo, che invece non mi é piaciuto per niente. I personaggi non erano male, ma il livello di bugie e sfiducia ha riempito il romanzo di un sacco di dramma assolutamente non necessario secondo me.

As I thought (fulfilled prophecy) I haven't liked this book as much as the previous one, because I just didn't like the plot and found not believable at all. Rich people do not marry under their status, not so much anyway. So, I think I will finish the series because there is only one left, but still....

Come pensavo, questo non mi é piaciuto tanto quanto il primo, perché la trama era assolutamente poco credibile perché i ricchi non si sposano le ragazze povere e senza status sociale, almeno non cosí tanto. Quindi finirò la serie fondamentalmente perché mi manca solo un libro e spero che sia leggibile.

I enjoyed this book a lot, because it has the right dose of misunderstanding and betrayal to justify the convoluted plot. I'm going straight to read the next one even if the plot is not so much to my liking right now.

Questo libro mi é piaciuto perché c'é la giusta dose di tradimento e sfiducia che porta poi all'happy ending. Quindi mi appresto a leggere il secondo anche se, devo dire, che dopo aver letto la quarta di copertina non credo lo apprezzeró tanto quanto questo.

Mein Problem, mit dieser Sammlung von kleinen Artikeln, die der Journalist regelmäßig in seiner Zeitung veröffentlicht, ist, dass ich den Autor nicht verstehen konnte.

Manchmal stimmte ich ihm zu, viele andere war ich gar nicht. Trotzdem hat er mir viel Material zum Nachdenken gegeben.

Il mio problema, con questa raccolta di piccoli articoli che il giornalista pubblica regolarmente sul suo giornale, é che non sono stata in grado di inquadrare l'autore.

Alcune volte ero d'accordo con lui, molte altre non lo ero per niente. Ciononostante lui mi ha formito molto materiale per riflettere.

I liked this book a lot, even if sometimes I thought it had all the right ingredients to be a success and felt not so authentic, but still I devoured it and had fun while reading it. I am probably going to read something else by the same author if it exists.

Questo libro mi é piaciuto molto, anche se ho avuto la sensazione che fosse stato accuratamente costruito a tavolino per diventare un successo "giovanile" e quindi in qualche modo mi é sembrato meno "autentico". Cionostante l'ho divorato e mi sono anche divertita parecchio mentre lo leggevo.

Devlin and Hero were involved in the death of the music teacher of the little princess Charlotte, so we got to see all the problems in Prinny's marriage. It was a good enough thriller, but the part I liked more was the historical one, were we also became aware of the gold transaction/smuggling handled by the Rotschild family.

Devlin ed Hero, stavolta sono coinvolti nell'assassinio della maestra di piano della principessa Charlotte e quindi devono barcamenarsi tra una serie di intrighi di palazzo che ruotano attorno a Prinny ed al suo terribile matrimonio. Come thriller non era male, ma la parte che piú mi é piaciuta é stata il background storico, nel quale ho scoperto anche come veniva contrabbandato l'oro grazie all'intermediazione della famiglia Rotschild.

Few things make me laugh like a Hap and Leonard's book, now mostly a big happy family who solves, crazy crimes. This one made no exception and I read it in one sitting and still stop to weep to some of the things "Leonard said".

Sono poche le cose che mi fanno ridere quanto i libri di Hap e Leonard, che ormai sono una grande famiglia che risolve crimini assurdi. Anche questo 13 volume della serie non ha fatto eccezione e piú volte mi sono dovuta fermare mentre leggevo (tutto in una volta, tutto in una sera) perché le cose che "diceva Leonard" mi avevano fatto venire le lacrime agli occhi (dalle risate).

Probably this series is not finished, with the war between fae and humans to come, but the thing is that I waited for Dani and Ryordan almost 10 years, and I was so disappointed that for me it is the end. Maybe in a couple of years I will change my mind because I will have forgotten how miserable I feel now and I will keep on reading, or maybe not.

Probabilmente questa non é la fine della serie, con la guerra in arrivo tra gli umani e le fate, ma il problema é he io ho atteso per quasi dieci anni la storia tra Ryordan e Dani e ci sono rimasta cosí male che per me questa é la fine. Magari tra un paio d'anni se e quando avró dimenticato la delusione che mi ha provocato questo libro, continueró a leggerla, o magari no.

Questa breve storia che vede protagonisti Aya e Toru, ma soprattutto la pioggia, mi ha ricordato una poesia molto lunga e piacevole. Dall'ideogramma iniziale credo pure che l'autrice lo abbia dedicato alla mamma, con cui anche la protagonista ha un rapporto complicato. Ci sono inoltre sprazzi di vecchi luoghi e personaggi che appartengono ad altri libri, ma sempre a Tokyo.
