I wanted so much to read this book that maybe this is the reason why I'm a little bit disappointed. It's exactly what I thought it was going to be, plus a lot more, and eventually all this plus valence of details and information that made it boring for me. Or maybe it is just the fact that I'm not American so the topic was interesting to me till a point, I can't imagine foreign people being over interested in all the struggles of a girl who comes from a poor family from Neaples, or wait, that was Elena Ferrante ;)
Volevo leggere un sacco questo libro, e questa potrebbe essere una delle ragioni per cui mi ha un po' deluso, pur se é esattamente il tipo di libro che pensavo sarebbe stato, con un sacco di roba in piú, e forse é stata questa plusvalenza di informazioni e dettagli che alla fine me lo ha reso noioso. O magari é solo il fatto che io non sia statunitense e quindi l'argomento mi interessava fino ad un certo punto; non é che ritengo che gli stranieri possano poi trovare cosí interessante la storia di una ragazza povera di Napoli e di tutto quello che deve fare per una carriera.... a meno che non sia scritta da Elena Ferrante ;)
