The plot was interesting enough and so the characters, but the story doesn't take off, always a little bit too slow and it lacks bite. The Hero is pretty ambivalent, at the beginning most of all, but the heroine changing of mind takes place somewhere near the end of the book but we simply have no idea about that, once she doesn't love him and she is not interested in marriage and two pages after she says she loved him to death.....mah.....

La trama era abbastanza interessante, così anche i personaggi, ma la storia non decolla, sempre un po' troppo lenta e senza mordente. Il marchese è piuttosto ambivalente, specialmente all'inizio del libro, ma il modo in cui Leah cambia idea è piuttosto oscuro ed improvviso, prima non ha interesse nè per l'amore nè tantomeno per il matrimonio e due pagine dopo afferma di averlo salvato perchè è l'uomo della sua vita....mah....
