This regency romance that is almost too much to consider a love story, saves itself only because the author gives Jane salacious and ironic answers, but the spark between her and Oliver will not fire and there are too many secondary characters that rise to the fore. I understand that this is the second book in a series and there is always the need of a little introduction to those who will become the protagonists of the next book, but in some cases it was not even clear who were the main characters of this book!

Questo regency che é quasi eccessivo considerare una storia d'amore, si salva soltanto perché l'autrice fa dare a Jane delle risposte molto salaci e ironiche, ma tendenzialmente tra lei e Oliver non scatta mai la scintilla e ci sono troppi personaggi secondari che salgono alla ribalta, io capisco che questo é il secondo di una serie e serve sempre una piccola introduzione a quelli che diventeranno i protagonisti del prossimo libro, ma in certi casi non si capiva nemmeno piú chi erano i personaggi principali di questo libro!
