Ich fand dieses Buch sehr langweilig a Beginnt, die üblichen mittleren Alters Krise des Universitätsprofessor an die kleine Stadt, die sich fragt, warum er da ist, während seine Frau lebt in einer anderen Stadt und seine erwachsene Tochter im Ausland studiert. Aber dann, durch verschiedene Rückblenden, konnte ich den Professor ein bißchen besser kennezulernen und am Ende, habe ich ihn mochte und jetzt, endlich, vermisse ich ihn ein wenig .
I admit I found this book very boring at first, the usual middle-age crisis of the university professor relegated to the small town that wonders why he is there while his wife lives in another city and his grownup daughter studies abroad. But then, through various flashbacks, I got to know better the professor and in the end I liked him and now miss him, a little at last.
Ammetto di aver trovato questo libro inizialmente molto noioso, la solita crisi di mezza etá del professore universitario relegato nella piccola cittá che si chiede come mai si trova lí mentre sua moglie vive in un'altra cittá e sua figlia ormai grande studia all'estero. Poi peró, attraverso vari flashback, si conosce meglio il professore e alla fine, un po', mi ci sono affezionata.
