Cherry Blossoms, Sushi and Takarazuka by Jill Rutherford

Cherry Blossoms, Sushi and TakarazukaCherry Blossoms, Sushi and Takarazuka by Jill Rutherford
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I really liked this book, the story of this British woman that opens an English School in a Japanese town was interesting and fascinating in a way that it is only possible if you are already "taken" by Japan and its strange world. It is like that for me so I really had fun reading it.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Review: Letters to Molly

Letters to Molly Letters to Molly by Devney Perry
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This one resonates with me more than the first one, but it was still a little bit "too unbelievable" in some of its parts. Anyway it was just a 2 books series and I am done with it.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Very clear and interesting, not so many new information anyway but the old ones are delivered in such an easy way that makes the whole book worth reading.

Review: How to Argue With a Racist: What Our Genes Do (and Don't) Say About Human Difference

How to Argue With a Racist: What Our Genes Do (and Don't) Say About Human Difference How to Argue With a Racist: What Our Genes Do (and Don't) Say About Human Difference by Adam Rutherford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Author takes his cue from the recent riots in America, and the Black lives matters movement, to offer an extremely scientific and accurate explanation of why the concept of race is completely wrong and has neither scientific basis nor reason to be.
Very interesting, especially when it offers examples used by racist idiots, who usually turn out to be even more stupid than those who use them, if possible.

Fascinating book about the power of Self-hypnosis, how to think yourself thin so that your subconscious mind believes that and helps you to obtain your target.
