I just closed this book and I'm still astonished and searching for some sort of meaning to this "bomb" that are the last chapters of this book. Then I realized that there has to be a reason why he is not only a Nobel prize winner, but he has also been a very much loved (by me also) and known author longer than that. It is confortable to know that not all the Noble prizes for literature have a political meaning behind them, some of them are really given to very good writers and not only to unknown poets or famous boring singers.

BOM! Ho appena finito questo libro ed é stata come una palata in faccia, sto ancora cercando una qualche sorta di significato agli ultimi capitoli. Siccome poi non é facile, faccio prima a riflettere sul fatto che Ishiguro, prima di vincere il Nobel per la letteratura, era comunque uno scrittore molto conosciuto ed altrettanto letto, quindi mi conforta che non tutti i premi hanno ragioni politiche, ed alcuni vengono dati veramente a bravi scrittori (che vendono libri e non sono sconosciuti o a cantanti).
