A turn to the dark side for one of my favorite series of cozy mystery. This time Pearl has to find a missing person, who has been missed for almost 7 years and it is not easy. The same old characters are going to help her to solve or maybe not a long time disappearance.
Una delle mie serie preferite diventa piú drammatica stavolta. Pearl é assunta per cercare di mettere un punto al mistero di un uomo scomparso quasi sette anni prima e non é semplice. Il solito cast di personaggi potrebbe aiutarla, o meno, nella soluzione del mistero.

Ein sehr schönes Krimi, die Geschickt so gebaut dass, das langsam wie eine Lawine wird, die dich überwältigt. Die einzige Schwierigkeit sind die vielen Charaktere mit japanischen Namen, die ein bisschen wie jeder andere für einen Gaijin aussehen.
Un giallo molto bello, costruito sapientemente e che piano piano diventa come una valanga che ti travolge. Unica difficoltà i tanti personaggi con i nomi giapponesi che si somigliano un po' tutti per un gaijin.

There is something magical in the way that some author are able to write a short story that has a great impact as this one had on me. Thing is, even if you spend 15 minutes to read it, then you will keep on thinking about that forever, isn't that a great ability to have?
C'é qualcosa di straordinario nell'abilità che hanno alcuni scrittori di rendere una novella da 15 minuti, qualcosa a cui continuerai a pensare per tutta la vita, tipo questa.

Storie brevi che hanno come protagonista uno dei miei poliziotti preferiti, magari proprio perché corrotto :) Schiavone si muove abilmente tra campi di calcio e treni, ma sono in trepidante attesa di un suo libro piú corposo. Ma comunque un richiamino va sempre bene, specialmente quando fa caldo.

Wenn ich nicht gewusst hätte, dass der Autor des Buches Murakami war, hätte ich es nach den ersten 5 Zeilen verstanden. Ich denke, es gibt wenige Bücher, die als "japanischer" angesehen werden können. Jetzt sehen wir, wie es endet.
Se non avessi saputo che l'autore del libro era Murakami, lo avrei capito dopo le prime 5 righe. Credo che siano pochi i libri che si possano considerare piú "giapponesi" di questo. Ora vediamo come va a finire.

Ich gebe zu, dass das Ende dieser Geschichte mich nicht besonders glücklich gemacht hat; ich kann auch sagen, dass ich das Buch in gewisser Weise geschätzt habe, aber das Buch könnte verhindern, dass es so endet wie es ist. Ich verstehe, dass es sehr Murakami ist, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass der Autor manchmal übertreibt.
Ammetto che il finale di questa storia non mi ha reso particolarmente felice, posso anche dire che ho apprezzato il libro in un certo qual modo, ma che poteva evitare di finire come ha fatto. Io capisco che é molto Murakami, ma ho come la sensazione che l'autore a volte esageri.

Surprisingly beautiful, not for the author, but for the topic of the book. A very dense novel about the Ottoman empire.
Sorprendentemente bello, non per l'autore, ma quanto piuttosto per l'argomento. Un romanzo densissimo sull'impero ottomano.

I liked this book, even if it was about the plot than the characters, their romance and their eventual interaction. I was totally captivated by the story that was going on in the past so I was slightly disappointed but in the end it was a good and enjoyable reading.
Questo libro mi é piaciuto in generale per la trama, piú che per la storia d'amore o per i personaggi coinvolti. Quello che stava accadendo nel passato mi interessava molto di piú di quello che stava accadendo ai nostri giorni, per questo sono rimasta anche un po' male, ma va bene lo stesso perché mi é piaciuto tutto sommato.
