I think that the same book with 100 pages less would have been better. Anyway the same things as usual are involved, werewolves, mates, rogues and so on. 4th book on a series but there's no need to read the previous one to follow the story. A particularly bitter heroine IMHO.

Penso che lo stesso libro con cento pagine di meno sarebbe stato più scorrevole. Comunque ci sono le solite cose che compaiono in tutti i romanzi d'amore con protagonisi i mutaforma: lupi mannari buoni, cattivi, compagne di tutta la vita, etc .etc. In questo caso però l'eroina mi è risultata particolarmente sgradevole.

I like the way Sacks uses words to describe client's cases that become clearly lives in my mind, but sometimes I find him a little bit repetitive. Anyway I didn't know he had this big problem in his eyes.

Mi piace il modo in cui Sacks usa le parole per descrivere i casi dei suoi pazienti, che diventano chiaramente vite nella mia mente, ma a volte lo trovo un pochino ripetitivo. Comunque non ero a conoscenza del suo problema agli occhi.

This book is a little bit different because, almost from the beginning the two are seriously attracted to one another, but in the end I found it a little too much, even if it was important for the plot. And so it was for me a little bit boring, anyway a good romance not so involved with the Ton.

Questo libro non è il solito regency perchè i due personaggi, quasi dall'inizio, sono seriamente attratti l'uno dall'altro, ma alla fine è risultato che tanto trasporto, pur se importante ai fini della trama, è stato per me un po' noioso da leggere; a parte questo un libro d'amore che non ha così tanto a che fare con l'aristocrazia inglese.

Once in a while I read "bodice ripper book" and find them funny, so this one also even if, IMHO, it was really a little bit too long but the characters were quite funny and strong heroine are my cup of tea in this time were women in books want only to get spanked (OHHH PLIZ!!!)

Ogni tanto mi leggo i libri d'amore con i pirati e li trovo divertenti, il discorso vale anche per questo anche se alla fine mi è sembrato un po' troppo lungo, ma i personaggi erano ok e in questi tempi in cui le donne nei libri sembra vogliano solo essere sculacciate (OHHHH PER FAVORE!!!!) una che tiene testa al maschio alfa l'apprezzo tanto.

Trama già vista: lui è il migliore amico di suo fratello e lei è ne è innamorata da sempre, ma c'è una svolta inaspettata della storia, che non scriverò. Scorrevole e divertente, per tutti i riferimenti alle attuali storie erotico/sentimentali come 50 shades.

I must admit I was waiting for the rush of love that his words have on me, but some of this essays felt the years and some other had a good reason for not being published before. Anyway DFW's rubbish is always better than some actual "masterpieces".

Devo ammettere che mi aspettavo il solito tracollo emotivo che mi danno le parole di DFW, ma alcuni di questi saggi sentono il peso degli anni, mentre altri avevano intrinseche le ragioni per cui non erano stati poi così publicizzati fino ad ora. Resta il fatto che anche la roba più trash scritta da DFW è migliore di alcuni "capolavori" attualmente in circolazione.

What happens when E.L.James meets Sylvia Day? We have a male character that is kinky like Christian Gray and mean like Gideon Cross, plus the heroine has not only beauty and problems related to her childhood, as the hero of course, but is even exceptionally talented and a geek. So this book was really too much in more than a way, or probably it's just me so fed up with spanking, rich alpha male and submissed girls due to a crazy family/mother, but still very sex oriented.

Che succede quando E.L.James incontra Sylvia Day? Abbiamo un personaggio maschile che a letto assomiglia a Christian Gray e fuori dal letto è cattivo come Gideon Cross, inoltre l'eroina non è solo bella ed ha - ovviamente - grossi problemi che le derivano dalla sua infanzia, come il protagonista ovviamente (se ne salvasse uno), ma è anche particolarmente dotata ed è un genio dei computer. Per me quindi questo libro è stato veramente troppo per più di una ragione, tutti troppo belli, troppo intelligenti, troppo problematici ma anche ricchi e di successo, come se avere dei problemi nell'infanzia automaticamente ti portasse a diventare un guru della finanza, ma magari sono solo io che sono stanca di tutte queste sculacciate, maschi alfa e donne sottomesse a causa di problemi familiari che però si divertono tanto con il sesso.

Un altro libro di T. Reisz e un'altra volta in cui i miei sentimenti a riguardo sono piuttosto contrastanti, inoltre questo non finisce e quindi "sarò costretta" a leggere anche il prossimo; mi chiedo comunque come sia stato possibile fregare per cosi' tanto tempo il prete e King, ma ok, continuo a dimenticare che stiamo parlando della trama di un libro....

I like stories written "by dog" just like the one by Sandor Marai or Fluke. This was from one of my favorite author so I couldn't miss it, and Mr. Bones didn't disappoint me, but in this case I have to admit a slight preference for his owner, Mr.Christmas.

Mi piacciono le storie scritte "dai cani", come quella di Sandor Marai oppure Fluke. Questa poi l'aveva scritta una dei miei autori preferiti, quindi non potevo perderla e Mr. Bones non mi ha deluso, anche se forse in questo raro caso, mi piaceva di più il suo padrone, Mr.Christmas.

Questa storia ci offre un excursus nella vita di Soren, prima e dopo Nora, e osserviamo i cambiamenti di Michael che s'innamora. Resta il fatto che mi chiedo ancora perchè questa serie abbia fatto tanto scalpore e l'unica risposta che mi sembra valida è il ruolo della chiesa cattolica....
