A very interesting book, first of all because the DSM-V is finally used and then because it is aware of the latest research both in the psychotherapeutic and pharmacological field and this does not happen often. An uptodate summa theologica.

Libro veramente molto interessante, prima di tutto perché viene utilizzato finalmente il DSM-V e poi perché é al corrente delle ultime ricerche sia in campo psicoterapeutico che farmacologico e questo non capita spesso. Una summa theologica uptodate.

Review: The Footman and I

Sometimes you just have to read a regency romance to have some fun, and this goes specially for Valerie Bowam trio of disguised Footmen, whose interaction made me real laugh.
Frances and Lucas had also a sparking relationship and I enjoyed the way their feelings grew.
Looking forward to the next title in this series!

A volte basta leggere un romanzo regency perché la vita torni a sorridermi e soprattutto a divertirmi se lo ha scritto Valerie Bowman e i personaggi sono tre nobili che decidono di travestirsi da servitori e le cui battute mi hanno particolarmente divertito.
Frances e Lucas, sono anche ben descritti e mi é piaciuto il modo in cui i loro sentimenti reciproci crescono lentamente. Sto aspettando che esca il prossimo della serie!

I didn't really like this book, first of all because it was, in my opinion, way to similar to the other book by kate Bateman whose title is To Steal a Heart (Secrets and Spies, #1), furthermore I found Alex and Emmy totally boring. I was looking for the pieces of the Story where Sally and the Granny were involved to have a little bit of fun. Pity, because I liked the first one in this series.....

Questo libro non mi é piaciuto proprio, prima di tutto perché secondo me ricalcava l'altro libro di Kate Bateman che s'intitola To Steal a Heart (Secrets and Spies, #1), inoltre Alex e Emmy erano veramente noiosi e andavo alla ricerca dei pezzi della storia dove ci fossero la nonna e Sally, almeno mi sarei divertita un pochino. Peccato, perché il primo libro della serie mi era piaciuto parecchio.

Ci sono alcune raccolte di articoli o saggi, come quelli di questo libro, che non sembrano essere invecchiati nei trent'anni che sono passati dalla loro prima uscita. Come anche per Pasolini, questi scritti di Eco sono puntuali e precisi, ma soprattutto, se si potessero cambiare qualche data e qualche nome, assolutamente attuali anche a tutt'oggi. Forse é il pregio di articoli in cui é l'intelligenza a farla da padrone, piuttosto che l'informazione veicolata.
