Strange book, beautiful but perhaps a little too metaphorical to get lost in an explanation so trivial as that of the third sister, even if virtual. The story might have been different, I will not say better, but perhaps more consistent, if the author had been limited to dealing metaphorically on the difficulty of bringing together two worlds so different as Nigeria and England. But maybe I just did not understand, and all the author wanted was for just to tell the story of a little girl and her alienation along the lines of the sixth sense.

Libro strano, bello ma forse un po' troppo in bilico sulla metafora per poi perdersi in una spiegazione cosí banale come quella del terzo gemello, per quanto virtuale. La storia forse sarebbe stata diversa, non dico migliore, ma magari piú coerente, se l'autrice si fosse limitata a trattare metaforicamente della difficoltá di far convivere due mondi cosí diversi come la Nigeria e l'Inghilterra. Ma forse sono io che non ho capito, e tutto quello che l'autrice voleva era raccontare la storia di una bambina e della sua alienazione sulla falsa riga del sesto senso.
