Va bene, credo che questa sia in assoluto una delle pu belle graphic novel che io abbia mai letto e quindi niente, appena ho i soldi me la compro che sicuramente quando la rileggeró in italiano sapendo che é mia saró ancora piú felice.

Abbastanza interessante, anche se molte delle cose scritte dall'autrice le conoscevo giá, c'erano chiaramente un'infinitá di collegamenti che non avrei mai fatto ad altri libri o tesi. Quindi consiglierei questo libro a chi non ha giá una conoscenza specifica dell'argomento, ma a chi vorrebbe quanto meno avvicinarcisi.

I have complexes and mixed feelings about this book, and I've had them all along. Since the beginning I was captivated by the story, the setting was so unsettling (pun intended) that I was eager to see how the story was going to proceed, but my problem has always been the fact that I find the prose of Margaret Atwood slow, so slow that I always read some other books in the meantime. This time was no exception, but in the end I obliged myself to read the last 100 pages in one setting, because I was longing to see the end, and I only say that it left me disappointed but it is absolutely consistent with the book. The world the author portraits scares me to death, even more now, when there is another clown ruling the world, or at last trying to, between his twitter session, but the end of the book is what I would like to discuss with somebody, because it lefts me wondering.
Ho avuto dall'inizio dei sentimenti contrastanti riguardo questo libro, e sono rimasti fino all'ultima riga e anche ora che vorrei discutere il finale con qualcuno. La storia mi ha preso dall'inizio, anche perché il setting era cosí disturbante che non vedevo l'ora di sapere cosa sarebbe successo e se qualcosa sarebbe cambiato; il mio problema peró é stata sempre la prosa di Margaret Atwood, che trovo di una lentezza quasi mortale, non a caso leggo sempre altri libri contemporaneamente ai suoi. Peró mi sono obbligata a leggere le ultime 100 pagine consecutivamente perché proprio non ne potevo piú di questo lento stillicidio e volevo vedere l'epilogo. Purtroppo non mi é piaciuto, ma devo ammettere che é totalmente consistente con la storia. Il mondo dipinto dall'autrice, considerato fino a poco tempo fa sci-fi, mi spaventa a morte specialmente ora che abbiamo un altro pagliaccio al potere, tra un twitter e l'altro, ma quello che vorrei soprattutto in questo momento, é discutere del finale con altre persone che hanno letto il libro, perché mi sento molto "appesa".

A short story and not too intense either. What would it be like if instead of entering the Guggenheim in Bilbao we discovered the man in our lives just a step away from the altar and then entered a dream world? The answer, or at least one of the plausible answers, is given here by Isabelle Allende.
Un racconto breve e nemmeno troppo intenso. Come sarebbe se invece di entrare nel Guggenheim di Bilbao noi scoprissimo l'uomo della nostra vita ad un passo dall'altare ed entrassimo poi in un mondo onirico? La risposta, o almeno una delle risposte plausibili, la da qui Isabelle Allende.

Nice stories (2) and nice drawings, also because the main character, Unute, looks a lot like Keanu Reaves, and I can only be happy about that. The first one tells a bit about Atlantis and the second one about a betrayed love, very sad by the way, while the first story looks a lot like a Conan story I read a long time ago.
Belle storie (2) e bei disegni, anche perché il personaggio principale, Unute, assomiglia molto a Keanu Reaves e io non posso che esserne felice. La prima racconta un po' di Atlantide e la seconda di un amore tradito, tristissima tra l'altro, mentre il primo racconto assomiglia molto ad una storia di Conan che ho letto tanto tempo fa.

I think I will die before this series comes to an end, now we have also the twin....I can't believe it but still I'm pretty sure I'm going to read all the future installments, because I'm a serial reader and I love Lora Leigh's Breeds, but still she is pushing it too far...
Penso che moriró prima della fine di questa serie, dove ora é arrivata addirittura la gemella. Non ci posso credere ma é anche possibile, oltre che probabile, che leggeró anche i prossimi libri, perché non posso farne a meno e perché i Breeds mi piacciono tantissimo, tipo i Carpaziani. Penso comunque che Lora Leigh stia veramente esagerando....
