If I hadn't had to read this book for one of my book clubs, I would have probably quit after 50 long and dragging pages, but I didn't and in the end I was happy because the story is convoluted enough to remain interesting even if the pace is way too slow. I am not also so convinced about the ending but ok, at last I don't have to wait for a second installment in another never ending series :)
Se non avessi dovuto leggere questo libro per uno dei miei book club, probabilmente avrei abbandonato il volume intorno a pagina 50, e sarebbe stato un peccato perché alla fine la storia non era male, pur se raccontata con una lentezza sconcertante. Non sono nemmeno poi particolarmente felice del finale, ma almeno non devo aspettare un altro volume ed aggiungere alla lista un'altra serie infinita :)
