Strange book, as everybody already said it is not what you expect from Ishiguro, even if it is not so easy to know what a great writer is going to write. Anyway this novel was too slow and "Proustian" in a way to be a nice fantasy (even if there are ogres and dragons), which is the reason why I gave it only 3 stars even if he is usually one of my favorite writer. Still it is full of magic and if you love the knights of Arthur's round table it is possible that you would appreciate this story.
Strano libro, come hanno giá detto in tanti, non é quello che ci si poteva aspettare da Ishiguro, come se fosse facile immaginare che cosa scriverá un grande autore. Comunque secondo me questa storia era troppo lenta e proustiana per essere un buon fantasy (anche se ci sono orchi e draghi), quindi questa é la ragione per cui gli ho dato solo tre stelle, nonostante solitamente Ishiguro sia uno dei miei autori preferiti. Resta comunque un libro pieno di magia e se vi piacciono i cavalieri della tavola rotonda é possibile che la storia vi piaccia.
