As if the author had read my criticisms, in this second installment in one of the most promising series of the year, we finally have more action, less love triangles, almost none, and especially much more Steampunk. Evelina is forced to become more confident and determined and even if this somehow makes the second book different from the first, which was more light in some way, in my opinion the series takes off at this point adn I´m just waiting for the third book!

Come se l'autrice avesse letto le mie critiche, in questo secondo romanzo di una delle serie piú promettenti dell'anno, abbiamo finalmente piú azione, meno triangoli amorosi, anzi quasi nessuno e soprattutto molto piú Steampunk. Evelina é costretta a diventare piú decisa e determinata e anche se questo in qualche modo rende il secondo libro diverso dal primo, che era piú leggero, in qualche modo secondo me, fa decollare la serie, a questo punto aspetto solo il terzo libro!
